Swanson premium chunk chicken way better then tuna.

ad

okay so everyone talks about wolfing down cans of tuna everyday. it's very lean has lots of protein I do it everyday. however tuna has a pretty sharp taste and after awhile it can get old I've gotten to the point where I take two or three big swigs of water with every can. I recently purchased a can of premium chunk chicken the brand I got was Swanson. and man talk about a lot better I could at 4 or 5 of those cans with no water. if you compare the nutrient labels they are the same just as much protein. so next time you're having to drink 20 ounces of water with a can of tuna next time try premium chunk chicken..

I'm amazed at the guys who say they eat a can of tuna everyday. Like they think heavy metal poisoning is a myth. Science says two a week should be the most, more than that can cause dangerous levels of mercury in the blood. I wouldn't go more than one a week.

I'd rather be small than eat tuna.

I've recently made the switch. I was eating too much tuna so I cut back to 2-3 days tuna week and eat the can chicken chunk for 3 days. I like it in a wrap w pickle twice a day.

I agree amigo, however I find that most canned chicken is very bland and dry once you drain the water. In a pinch it sure makes putting a salad together rather easy. Always looking for the quick and easy healthy meal.

I use the nature valley one and I like it with some mustard. Do you worry about the sodium in the chicken?

NoPnNoGn's picture

I don't worry about the sodium in the chicken because my sodium intake all day is so low that the amount in the chicken doesn't hurt. plus the tuna has similar sodium totals

There is a shit-load of Mercury in tuna. That is why I cut my tuna intake way back.

And now you also gotta worry about cesium radiation form Fukashema. (sp)? You know that durn reactor that melted down in the pacific ocean from Japan. The tinfoil hats are saying that's its contaminating all the fish and its being played down. I just might believe this one is true.
