most out of anavar cycle?
Ok, so im going to need specifics here. first, what you need to know about me:
Female
5'9" 177 lbs
i dont know my body fat % but look at my pic and you can get an idea of where i stand physically.
my goal:
while on my first anavar cycle my goal is to cut fat and simultaneously build muscle. im currently cutting. i work out 5 days a week...i lift all 5 days(lM-legs, T-chest/triceps, W-back, TH- shoulders/biceps, F-legs and do 20 mins HIIT cardio 3 days a week. i dont follow any specific diet or count my macros or anything like that...i just eat protein with every meal, eat at least 5 small meals a day, lots of veggies, protein shakes for snacks... even though im pretty sure my diet its wrong for what im trying to do ill give you a sample day:
breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with a glass of water
snack 1: 8 ounces 2%milk 1 banana, 1 scoop protein powder (blended) glass of water
lunch: 1 boneless skinless chicken breast cooked up with 2 cups of spinach glass of water
snack 2: 8 ounces 2%milk 1 banana, 1 scoop protein powder (blended) glass of water
dinner: turkey burger patty (by itself) with 2 cups broccoli glass of water
the only carbs im getting now are in my protein shakes, and i know thats not enough to fuel my workouts but i cant seem to get straight answers on whether to cut crabs out completely while cutting or not... anyway, advice or suggestions are appreciated... so again, what should my diet/ workout/ look like if my goal while on my var cycle is to cut fat and build muscle... should i worry about my macros if so what are the actual numbers im looking for? also suggestions for the cycle itself?... 10mgs a day split morning and night? 8 week cycle sound good? remember i need specifics if you have the time to comment. thanks in advance!

AnonLet's get you straightened out a bit mama. First, You need to research diet more (your carbs are not just coming from shakes-- bananas are high in carbs too) and need to decide which type of diet you want to try-- You can follow a ketogenic diet which is zero carb but high in fats (healthy fats, mind you). You can carb cycle or stay relatively steady with your intake and lower carbs and/or fats when you begin to plateau... It's ultimately up to you which plan you want to follow, and finding what your body responds to. I take in fats and carbs while cutting, and work the numbers down slowly and methodically. I'm not going to lay out a diet plan for you, with specifics... It's up to you to do some more research. There are hundreds of sites that will provide sample meal plans. Even the diet clinic on this site. Adding small amounts of cardio (5 minutes here and there) to your cardio routine will help in leaning out also.
The anavar post in the ladies lounge, a few clicks away, will provide ALL the info you need as far as anavar cycles. Be aware that anavar will most likely make you feel thicker and wider- it's not a weightloss aid- diet and cardio will accomplish that.
I'm hoping you haven't already started your cycle..
couldnt have said it any better Kali.. ;-)
AnonLots of praise coming from you, grrrl
This. 1000 times this.
solid advice.
No I haven't started my cycle yet... I know bananas have carbs as do many other fruits I eat... what I was getting at is that I'm not eating starchy carbs Like bread and pasta or rice....because I'm cutting... but do eat them while bulking...and the good kind... I also should have mentioned I had extensively researched diet.... but I can never get any clear answers as every site/trainer/nutritionist has a different opinion.... and to then get into to carb or not to carb and macros...I'm tired of researching and not getting anywhere...which is why I thought of just asking here from other members what their experience with anavar and what they did for diet when they were on their var cycle and what their var cycle was....and when I say specifics I don't meal a meal plan I made for me...I mean like if you had the same goal as me with var for cutting fat but still building muscle...what diet plan did you follow....don't just say I ate clean.... like did you do macros and meet them everyday and if yes what were they and how did that work for you...I also notice a lot of people calculate their macros differently so which way did they do it? I'm rambling at this point...but you know what I mean?
Try this.

AnonYes, I do know what you mean.. I could lay out my intake in grams to a "T" but MY diet plan isn't going to help YOU. Peoples bodies respond in very different ways. Some people can cut on 200 grams of carbs, while others need to go super low and carb cycle to see results. Its about experimenting and learning your body. You haven't found a solid answer from any source about cutting because its completely dependent upon the individual. Best way to find out what works for you is finding a plan that seems manageable (moderate carbs, moderate fats, high protein, lots of fiber) and try it. I firmly believe in logging your progress (how you feel, your strength levels, how clothes are fitting, how you look in the mirror) along with what your diet is. Try myfitnesspal along with a paper log. This way you can tell how your body is responding to the diet and exercise plan you are on. Adjust your intake up or down depending on the results. Here is a link for iifym- I don't personally use it but you may find it helpful as a reference point.

I hate to say about anavar results, but they are individual too. Some women have great results, others have "meh" results. It truly is an experiment. Best advice I can give to getting the most out of your cycle: "train like the possessed, eat like the starved, rest like the dead"
thanks Kali i appreciate your replies... im going to check that link out... how long do you suggest for a trial of a certain cutting diet? a few weeks?... maybe each var cycle could be a different diet experiment? to see how my body does on each cycle with tweaking the nutrition in a different way each time? i use MFP to track all my food and keep logs of all my workouts... so i agree with you there for sure...its just a giant game of trial and error... thanks a bunch!
AnonI just read your profile.. Congrats on shedding all of the weight!
Thanks!
Thanks!
