Horrible reviews, and addressing them accordingly.
There are always a ton of reviews on this site that are made just for a discount, we all know that. One of the highest ranked sources offers discounts for reviews on here, and I'm sure many others do as well. My first time using this great site I followed reviews of some of these 1 karma guys and wound up ordering what was the weakest Sust I have ever had, before I understood the way things worked.
What I would like to see for us "Average Joe's" (non mods) is the ability to reply to a review IF you click either thumbs up or thumbs down, so we can explain why, right there on the review, we either like or dislike said review. I find myself reading some of these stupid reviews and thumbing down, and wanting to explain why being the actual thumb up or down is anonymous in itself. I STILL rely on reviews after being here well over a year, and when I open some review to see "I'm sure it's G2G, will update soon" or some other bs sad excuse for a review I want to stand up and tell them why I negged them. Anyone else agree ?

That used to be how it was. If you look back t review pages for older sources. Go to their first ten pages and youll see how it quickly turns into an SI. That is what the SI is for. Call them out there
I only pay attention to reviews that come from a guy with more Karma than I have. I see all these reviews by guys with single digit Karma. I figure it the source gaming the system.
Something to consider I suppose but I wouldn't hang my hat on it.
How many karma points do you think Viking had when he first showed up?
I checked out some reviews a few times, you can tell the fakes from the real.and I also neg them. Especially when a source puts up a promo, all of a sudden everyone and their grandmother has used the source before. I think what needs to be done as well is tell the source they cant post "please refresh your review if you havent already." Thats an open invitation to a ton of fake reviews. If you go on a si page and just read some of the fanboy shit and these guys talking about doing 4-5 mls a week and talking about how jacked they are yet you havent seen 1 pic posted by them. I was at 1 point shutting these guys down but the fanboy attacks were overwhelming. So now I troll the reviews and neg the obvious fake ones and let the powers that be know about it. Ultimately its up to them to flag. All we can do is call their bluff and make sure they stay honest.
I believe all that newbies care is to receive their shit. Newbies will go ape if they don't receive their gear & will may sure they burn a source everytime they get a chance. While an exp user just sit back uses the gear & review by experience/results & sometimes even with bloods.
All the dudes that been here a few years know which source pays with gear for reviews & which ones will give you some samples of the cheapest shit they have on their site for a nice review.

All this guy says is he got his gear. Who can judge or infer ANYTHING other then that this source actually sent an order? And what makes it by FAR the best? This type of review is just the definition of useless
I like the idea honestly..ive read so many that were a piss poor excuse of a review and want so badly to speak my mind to them but could only neg them..when i really wanted to tell them how terrible of a review they wrote.Some ppl are just pure lazy and cant take ten minutes of their time to write a solid one.

Some ppl i would love to wrap my hands firmly around their throats and squeeze. Lazy ppl drive me nutts sometimes with the shit they say on reviews
I kinda stopped going by reviews atleast regarding quality a long time ago. They're good to see t/a, packaging, communication but for quality I don't trust a lot of them. I used to and all it got me was some underdosed crap in the past or mediocre gear at best. According to everyone everything is g2g and fire. Most people don't know what good gear is and theyr just excited that didn't get ripped off and have some vials with oil in them. Hell I even fuck up reviews sometimes. Like I'll be getting good results and stuff but pull bloods and realize it's underdosed. It's tough if you know how to eat an train I get results regardless so just add a little hormone I to the mix and the results are increased dramatically. But my test levels only need to be 2000ng/dl to get some great results but if I'm running 600mg it should be more like 4000 and it's very hard to tell that just by how you feel, bloods are key. you will fell awesome with your test levels at 2000 which is like 4 times normal, but it's still half of what it should be on that dose. But I totally knkw what you mean about the fucking bullshit reviews with absolutely no detail. Or my favorite is you see them post a gear pic and an hour later review is up but they haven't used the gear yet. I hate that shit. Review are just part of the reseach one should do before making a purchase.
Things more or less started out that way. With All the discussions and fan boy banter it made it impossible to just comb through the reviews. Now we have a discussion page and review page.
This site is a tool. It would be an awesome tool if the members of this site would see it as such and use it with great care, skill and respect as they would with any power tool they have at home.
So use the source discussion page to call out bad reviewers. You guys set your own standards... time you all raised the bar.
That makes sense, you guys (mods) and bfg control everything but ultimately its up to us to keep the machine oiled well and running smoothly
I understand the point of separating the two, I really do. However, if someone logs on just to review, but doesn't visit the discussion page that I negged them on, they won't ever get an alert for either the neg, OR the comment I post, and especially if its a busy SI page, I can call someone out there sure, but if its a busy page it can get pushed down and off the front page in a very short time. Maybe at least setting it to where if someone neg or likes my review, I get an alert and then I CAN jump on the SI and ask why? The fan boy stuff keeps alot of these reviews getting negged over and over, and I can think of a very popular source whose page is literally run by about 5 fanboys who don't let anything negative posted to unpunished. At least then there can be a little accountability for these negs...just a thought but I am sure this is largely impractical.
I personally will vow to EVERY NEG I put up from now on at least pop on the SI page and call it out.
Interesting idea...I don't think it will fly but I like it...I too get sick and tired of crappy fake reviews and also poorly written real reviews...sometimes I was to neg them and other times I goto the SI if there is one and poke fun at them while also advising on how to improve the review...but yeah substandard reviews are an issue and I always hope new members figure out how to sort through the bs....
