Can one transport research chems on flights?
ad
I may have to travel across country. Only have research chemicals. (wish I had pills, argh)
Regardless, has anyone transported research chems on an air flight?
I know you can't carry it on your person, but what about packing it in your luggage that you turn over at the check-in desk, and is stowed underneath the plane?

Ship it to where you are going but you shouldn't be that paranoid. Just put it in your dopp kit with your toiletries.
I've refilled liquid tylenol or advil bottles before....even comes with the 1ml measuring syringe. Regular luggage and NEVER an issue. Be safe bro
Ok, thanks guys.
However, for those that empty and transfer into another container... I'm only going for a weekend or so... so would only be a few mL or so... What do you do then? EDIT: I guess you could 'permanently' transfer all of it to a different bottle, then simply use it from that bottle from there on out. Especially helpful if you travel a lot.
Also, what WOULD you say to inspectors, if they stopped and asked you what it was? (though wondering where/when they would even do that, since you check it and it gets stowed under the plane, those go a totally different route than a person who boards)
Holy water
Ive done it plenty of times. I guess tron is right, its not illegal. But ive always gone to cvs and bought those empty little travel size bottles for shampoo and stuff and put them in there. Ones like this. http://www.amazon.com/Travel-Plastic-Empty-Bottles-Containers/dp/B00CE36XW0
TronFunny you should ask... I just got off a plane last week and took a bottle of exemestane with me there and back with no problems at all. I just put it in the checked bag that goes under the plane and had no problems at all. I left the label on because it's not illegal. You see that's how these research companies are able to run a legit business. They sell it as a research chemical that is not for human consumption and you are nothing more than someone doing research on the chemical. I mean, I guess you could put it in a different bottle of something like an empty bathroom product. I didn't hide mine nor tear the label off and I flew through Dallas TX where the eboli apparently came through and I had no problems and I imagine they are running a pretty tight ship in all the departments right now. But if it's not illegal theres nothing to worry about. If you did peel the label off and they found it it would be a lot harder explaining what the hell it is bro.
Use OTC cough medicine, anti diarrhea, etc. bottles and dont carry on....keep the labels on the bottles.
I dont see why not id put it in my bag that gets stored under the pain maybe peel the labels off so if you pull out for questioning say its something else.
I wonder if anyone here has actually done it? I was thinking of putting them in a smaller container w/ the other toiletries, so that it might 'mix in' with them and more easily be overlooked.
I really wish I could find a viagra/cialis source on here that sells pill forms, and uses a legit payment process (the only ones I find on here use limited, idiotic, or questionable payment methods that I will not use)
Seems like pills would be easily ignored on the scanner, but research liquids, in today's world? Seems like it might raise eyebrows.
