Good gawd, my E2 is through the roof!!!

ad

Last holidays, got T measured, was (barely) low.

Got back in shape, changed diet, etc. Brought T up to low/med of normal (several tests, was usually 4-500, range 350 - 1100). Wanted to go higher, as I've got good body composition; high muscle, lowish BF%. (was fattened up last holidays due to injury, intentional gorging on holiday foods, etc)

Out of curiosity,, I also tested my E2 during this time. First time, it was 57 (high range limit 42). I started using Ar-r's liquid Adex, .15 to .2mg/day. Tested a month later, it was 48, still 'High.'

I then started interacting w/ a TRT doctor, and in prep for our meeting and as part of the 'Clomid challenge,' I responded well to Clomid 25mg/day for a week. (T in low 900's)

So put on a lower dose Clomid as TRT. No AI.

After nearly 4 weeks of that lower dose Clomid, my T is still in the low 900's, but my E2 has shot up to over 80!!!

I definitely need an AI. I got a hold of Evolution's liquid Adex. Still have Ar-r's Adex. But definitely gonna start using the Adex. Not sure how much, or how often. (gonna call TRT doc and see what he says as well)

One thing is certain -- I must be a super-aromatizer!

(ps. my cortisol is high as well; in general, I'm a stressed person, don't sleep well, and have been on a fat-burning kick over the last few months, trying to get under 10% BF while maintaining as much muscle as possible -- not sure if all that could raise E2 as well?)

I switched sources, got some Aromasin, and started taking 12.5mg EOD along w/ my Clomid 15mg EOD.
Also started taking DIM 200mg daily.

3 weeks later, E2 from 80 down to 40! (max range 42)

Going to try Aromasin ED to see if I can push E2 down to ~ 30.

You have a trt doc right?- Why are you on here looking for advice-get to the doc,get bloods and if in fact they are high he can put you on pharma AI- UG AI unless from a highly recomended trusted source is not a good idea-just my opinion...

Doc is on vacation all this week, and I got a 'deadline' for physical competition (being intentionally vague) where high E2 can interfere w/ my performance. Also, the doc is very cautious in his approach... which is a good thing... except for this damn competition I have coming up, I want results fast. If nothing else, figured I'd do what I could for this week before he gets back from vacation.

So hopefully if I take the Adex I got (either leftover Ar-r, or the Evolution I just got) it'll help bring E2 down a little til the doc gets back. (competition is late Aug, so I got a month to 'dry out' my abs and get rid of subtle bloat)

ps. you'll note in the OP, I've had a number of blood tests done, and they've all shown high E2... but this last one -- 80! -- was way higher than other high ones. (max range up to 42; first test was at 56, second at 45, recent one at 80)

Come to think of it, the Adex I took before that second test might have helped a bit; down from 56 to 45. Even if watered down, there's still probably some AI in there.

Yeah, I guess I could go with a script.

When I went to see him, I showed him the liquid Clomi and Adex. At that time, as per the 'Clomid challenge,' the Clomid was obviously legit... but the Adex possibly not.

But anyhow, the liquid Clomid was cheaper than a script, so we agreed for me to just keep using it. But since the Adex might not be fully potent, maybe I'll have to get a script.

Thing is, I read somewhere else on here, that Adex will only decrease one's E2 by 50%. So even at a full 50% reduction, I'd still be on the verge of clinically high E2.

I also have to wonder, if AI's latch onto and negate the aromatizing enzymes... is that bonding permanent? If so, how long until those enzymes are replaced?

Bro pharma adex will lower you e2 you dont want to tank your e2.What sides are you experiencing if any?Im sure being in the upper range of normal is okay.

Too hard to separate low-T sides from high E2 side from stressed-as-hell-with-life sides LOL!

Probably one side re: high E2, is I'm retaining some puffiness or water or slow fat loss on the midsection, when compared w/ where I should be. I've done a number of tests over the years (calorimetry, bod pod, RMR, etc) and know my CICO numbers. I should have a clear 6-pack at my current state. My waistline goes down and down. I go between 12-14% BF. Yet there's still 'puffiness' covering my abs. I'm absolutely convinced it's due to the high E2.

hey try eating alot of broccoli it reduces estrogen, try eating a cup in 3-4 meals throughout your day, that or cauliflower it will reduce your estrogen how much i dont know each person is different research it bro you will be surprised hope that helps...

I actually eat both broc and cauli, and eat a handful of goji berries and probably other stuff I'm not even thinking of LOL.

Until I hear from my TRT doc, I'm gonna take .2mg liquid Adex (Evolution) ED. Not worried about crushing E2. Probably couldn't crush it, even if I tried.

Trapsquatch's picture

you ever research letrzole is can take 98% estrogen dont quote me on that number bro its been a while since I researched. But again I think adex will be fine for you just try and get your estrogen in a healthy range and not tanked, estrogen actually help in building muscle no estrogen means no gains.

Kuriousjorj's picture

Yes actually, I was pondering getting Letro.

If my next blood test in ~ 3 weeks doesn't show lowered E2, I'll go w/ the Letro.

Yes, I agree on not wanting to 'crush' E2... Will have to take it step by step I guess.

Idk why it is but I have always seemed to trust over seas ancillaries and pct way more than domestic.

Why dont you ask your trt doctor for a prescription for arimidex,if you have high estrogen complain to him about symptoms so that he gives you it.He is a trt doctor im sure he will understand LOL
