I drink one before my workout and one before bedtime at bedtime i swith the Whey for casen as its a slow digesting proteine to feed your body through the night.

Mine is similar. I add a cup of chobani plain Greek yogurt to mine.. lot of people on here adding raw eggs. I always think about just going to the fridge and shooting a couple all the time.. is that still safe or what lol?

I throw 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 serving of cottage cheese, and an egg in there. Shits delicious, but the last bit can be a little chunky lol.

I cant do cottage cheese in a shake and oats make it to thick for me, I eat my oats separate, but I do throw about 8 raw eggs in with it (whites).

Eggs are a great touch, they make it nice and frothy. I like the cottage cheese because of the texture in the finished product. I don't like the oats, but I need some kind of slow carbs. I heard someone talk about using grits, I don't know if that would mix better than oats.

I wish I could eat eggs!! As soon as they hit my stomach it's like sombody is hitting it with a sledge hammer for hours

I know it sounds gnarly at first. But the cottage cheese makes it really creamy (no homo). It has an amazing taste. And I actually use a scoop of ON serious mass. Cals come in at 1500 and protein is at 75g, I don't really count fat too much since I'm ecto and it flies right off of me, but for some healthy fats and extra cals I'll add in some coconut or olive oil.

Sounds good I might have to try it

I use this as well but add a banana for another 180 calories or so and half a cup of ground wheat flour for some carbs and cals. Texture of pancake batter but lots of calories great for bulking.

Huh....groung wheat flour. I like that.

Gymjunkie01's picture

How's the texture with the flour?

Its pretty much just ground wheat. There isnt any yeast in it but non the less it thickens it up some. Its great though for additional carbs and calories and definitely no chunks as with oats.

I like it brother! Only thing i would change personaly, i would drop down to 2 tbs PB and then add 1/2 cup whole oats, just to reduce fat intake but still have around the same cals.
Thanks for the post!

You know I tried the oats not a fan of the texture with the shake that's why I add the extra peanutbutter. But if it works for you then that's all that matters

I love " blender " recipes! Wish i knew more of em.

The texture is a little unpleasant, lol. Its hard to get down sometimes, even when i try to liquify it it is still just a little gritty. But yes, it seems to work for me. More of a cleaner bulk i guess.

I'm gonna try this. I'm curious as to the cost breakdown, compared to store bought mass gainers. Thanks big bro.

Way cheaper bro...
