+ 1 Massachusetts blood work and donating

I hope this is the correct forum to post under.

Two questions, the first being the more critical one if you only have time to respond to one:

1 - Can anyone recommend a discreet and affordable lab in Massachusetts to get a full hormonal panel blood test done? I asked my PCP to do my full panel last fall because I told him I was concerned about low-t. He ordered test only even though I had asked for prog/estro. The results came back normal. I am currently on 250mg test e E3D I told him about the AAS and I want to get the full panel and do everything responsibly but he turned down my request saying that because my levels were normal last time my insurance wouldn't cover it. I like my PCP a lot and for personal reasons I do not want to push the issue because I can tell he isn't comfortable with it and I don't want him to drop me. So, being that I have to pay out of pocket, and Googling gives me options but they are very costly, and I will pay what is necessary, but I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction so I go to the right lab because I want to have a good place that I can go whenever needed, get accurate results, and not be paying way above what I should be.

2 - Many people suggest donating blood on-cycle to lower BP/RBC. I would like to do this for my own health of course but also to help others out who are in need. However it is my understanding that hormones will be passed through the blood to the donor. I'd be fine with a healthy adult male getting my blood, but what if a little girl gets my blood with unnatural levels of test? So this seems like a moral dilemma because I'm not going to help myself by risking hurting someone else. Can someone please clarify if this is actually a risk or has what I've been read blown out of proportion?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and/or respond.

Head into Connecticut; you'll have to drive to New Haven I believe.

haha, i've been to new haven before it's over 2 hours from me. i was in india last year and i saw a tattoo shop. i thought to myself "getting a tattoo in india would be a cool souvenir" then i thought "hep c would not be a cool souvenir though". new haven made me think of that story because i don't want to get any blood drawn there, from what i've seen of that place.

i hope i'm not being offensive, i'm mostly joking mind you, but let's be honest new haven isn't exactly a nice place... haha. thank you for the reply though Smile

You may be right, but don't forget about the college there downtown or even the fact that New Haven has some of the best Pizza,

1 Privatemedlabs.com female hormone panel $59 usually can find a promo code easy.

2 from what I'm told they screen your blood before they just give it to somebody.

do you mean privatemdlabs? if so MA is one of the states that you can't test in.

duality_intj's picture

"Due to state laws, we cannot provide services for RESIDENTS in NY, NJ, MA, MD or RI"

Do they require ID? I can go to one of their NH locations give them the address of a friend in that state if necessary.

Never mind see below

EDIT:

Can I test anonymously?

No, due to mandated regulations, Private MD cannot provide anonymous testing. You will be asked for an ID at the Patient Service Center.

Use privatemdlabs drive to new Hampshire and you'll be fine. You can't test in mass or use mass insurance but you can pay with your mass credit card, use a mass address with NH listed as your state lol

Friend request me or PM me if you need more help

I ask the same question because everyone says you can post anonymously, but as you can see it says you can't. Maybe someone who recently used one of the labs can chime in, i'm curious myself.
