When do you start to feel long ester test?
Ok, you may have seen my last couple of posts complaining about my doc and his prescribed testosterone dosages. Now, granted I'm no expert, but this isn't my first time running gear, and I know what it feels like when my test starts kicking in. I have been off cycle for a few months and my testosterone levels came back at 226 for which my doc says is in normal range, and continued TRT won't be necessary. Naturally I gave him the finger and began dosing myself.
Now, I see guys on the review pages and Source discussions saying "Ive been pinning this test e for a week, and this gear is fire." to which I usually roll my eyes and shake my head and think "placebo effect".
I took my first pin, (trt dose 300mg/week Test E), 9 days ago on Thursday. The following Wednesday, I noticed my energy levels and hunger were starting to increase. 2 days later and I'm waking up with morning wood that could break diamonds. These are all things I notice on cycle, but not usually till the 3 rd or 4th week without a prop kickstart. I'm on my 9th day of TRT, 2 days after my secnod pin, and I can assure you that these sides are NO placebo effect, and that has me tossed up a little.
My question is, "Why am I feeling my test injections so quickly this time around"? Is it because my levels were so low that my androgen receptors were screaming for something to bind with or what?
Does anyone have a similar experience, or any wisdom the care to share on the topic?

Long ester test e took me 5 weeks. EQ took me 8.
Check out these two posts. They will give you a visual reference of what you are taking and when it starts to kick. There is an initial kick but not significant until 5-6 half life cycles.

Bro, Test E has a half life of 10.5 days. First pin - 300 mg in blood. One week later you have 190 mg circulating in your blood from the first injection. You pin again. You have 490 mg circulating - 3rd pin 610 mg in blood - 4 the pin 683 mg in blood. The curve starts to level out but continues to climb at a decreasing rate. My calculations may be a little off , but you get the idea. By week 5-6 you have smoothed out. Now how those dosages translate into serum test levels - exactly - I'm sure we could figure that out too. But, only1cat below is right on the money when he says u get a solid hit off the very fist shot. Long ester or not.
Welcome to the world of low test. Fucking doctors piss me off. How is 226 a normal range, lol. My low normal range is 600. If I'm not above 600 I have low test.
I'd imagine your low test levels played a role in feeling the effects so quickly. You could have been previously been too aggressive with your AI on cycles. I have consistent levels of 1300 and my dick is limp as a noodle cause I crash estrogen too often. I have this OCD thing about my nips - one gyno flare and its fucked me mentally for life.
That's a pretty healthy TRT dose at 300/week.
Plus - Hulk's gear is fire. You can count on it being 300.
So yeah - you're gonna feel it quick - especially from where you started from.
Me too bro I feel the effects of wood and hunger within the 1-2 week range, but don't notice the crazy strength or pumps untill 3-4. The main thing is, you know it works if your already getting the effects this soon. Also means its top shelf.
Even though you are on a long ester you get an immediate hit of the testosterone. A small hit but none the less you get a hit of it. Now yes it will take a few weeks to start getting true strength from a long ester but you will see some results upon injection. Sense of well being hunger energy and morning wood.
I guess whats getting at me is the fact that I never have felt anything this quickly, and its coming on strong, not a mild elevation making me wonder if it's the test. It's lke hitting a brick wall "BAM", no doubt in my mind what it is causing it. Why am I responding differently this time?
I wish I had an answer for that backed up by science but I don't. I can speculate with you and say it's because of our test levels so low cause much like you my levels when I first started trt was 205 or 210 nd/dl they stopped increasing me when I got a lil above 400nd/dl. I was on 1 shot every other week I felt better but not great. In all honesty for the first week I felt great then by the end of the 2nd week I was getting grumpy and loosing energy.
