Decided on a THIRD Test Only Cycle / Help With Acne?
Well, you can see from my older posts, if you look, that I have ran only two cycles to this point.
Both were test only, as they should have been.
Cycle 1:
Week 1-10 Test E 250mg 2x/wk
My AI was Arimidex 0.25mg every other day from the third week throughout the cycle until PCT.
I got a little bit of acne toward the end of the cycle (probably around week 6) that progressively got worse through PCT. My PCT was the standard Clomid/Nolva that basically everyone recommends ran at 100/100/50/50 and 40/40/20/20.
The acne was annoying, but it was never unbearable or anything to worry much over. It was just a bit but it never really went away. Since it was so moderate, I did not pay too much mind to it. I went back on cycle after waiting the proper amount of time, but the (again, moderate) acne was still present. The acne got progressively worse throughout the next cycle.
Cycle 2:
Week 1-4 Test Prop 50mg everyday
Week 1-10 Test E 250mg 2x/wk
Week 11-13 Test Prop 50mg everyday
I used Aromasin this cycle. I changed my dosage around a lot in the beginning trying to "dial in" what felt right for me. I ended up settling on 6.25mg everyday (well, half of a 12.5mg capsule... Considering the filler, there is no telling what the exact dose was each time) which made me feel pretty good overall minus still having the progressively worsening acne. Toward the end of this cycle, and furthermore into PCT...
PCT for this cycle was:
Clomid 100/100/50/50
Nolva 40/40/20/20
Aromasin 6.25
Through PCT, the already worsening acne just got terrible. It got to the point where my entire back was covered in HUGE cystic pimples. It was so terrible. It became very annoying.... Painful, even.
I did some research and found that antibiotics were probably necessary for me at that point. Fortunately, someone in my distant family is a doctor and called an antibiotic in for me. I used it for a few months and it helped a ton. I am now also showering twice a day, moisturizing each time I get out of the shower, tanning every other day, and taking vitamin B-5. I have discontinued use of the antibiotic. The acne is WAY more contained than it was before... But it is still persistent. I still have a significantly large amount of it... But it is no longer cystic and enormous and painful. Now, it is mostly a ton of red spots with a few big white-head pimples that pop up here and there. But, again, I am still COVERED in these motherfuckers. They are just small and whatever now.
Has anyone ever dealt with such terrible acne? Could anyone suggest anything that has helped them from experience?
My plan for this upcoming third cycle was to run Test at 600mg per week + Deca at 375... I have even already bought all the necessary gear. However, I have decided to just run the test alone again until I know how to deal with it. Adding more shit to the mix before I can even do what I am doing now would just be an immature and inexcusably poor judgment call... And, as much as I want to just throw the fucking chemicals in as much as everybody else does, I know deep down that I should not do that. I know better, and I have decided to stick to the test once again.
I plan instead to run Test E at 600mg per week (not much different at all from what I have done before). I am going to get pre-cycle bloods done this weekend to see exactly where my levels are right now. I plan to get another test done around week 4 or 5, whenever I feel the test is REALLY starting to kick into gear. I will adjust AI accordingly. Btw, I plan to use Arimidex at .25mg every other day... I think possibly the Aromasin could have played a part in the worsening of my acne last cycle? I don't fucking know, man. I will get a third set of bloods done either post-cycle or between weeks 8-10 if I had adjustments to make from the previous test.
Cycle 3:
Week 1-12 Test E 300mg 2x/wk
Blood tests pre-cycle, ~week 5, during PCT, one month after PCT
I will post all of my bloods as they come.
Again, if ANYONE has ever experienced such problems with acne (and it has only been ACNE!!! No other persistent fucking problems I have noticed at all!!!) and could help me to figure all this out, please share any and all knowledge. I am all ears.
Before anyone asks........
I am 23 years old.
I had NO history of body acne before supplementing with testosterone.
Already told you my previous cycles and the one I plan to run (all test only).
Will post all bloods as I get them done!

Got my blood drawn today, bros. I will post the results as soon as I get them.
Prob Tuesday. Maybe sooner, maybe later.
I saw mentions of the test itself possibly being behind the harsh acne. This is my bloodwork that was done in the middle of my last (second) cycle if it could be of any help.

The same cycle including AI setup was used throughout the rest of the cycle, as well.
PS... Going to avoid going the Accutane route at all costs for now, even if it means going back and doing everything naturally for a few more years, as I do not have insurance nor the money to do it the right way... And I feel the risks outweigh the rewards as far as buying it personally and running it without any guidance goes. I have made some good gains from my first couple of cycles, but all the gains in the world are not worth some things. Maybe in the future if I continue to have this problem, I will look into it once I have insurance and the means to do it with medical guidance. But thank you to everyone for your input. I understand that Accutane is a miracle drug for some! So your input is definitely still appreciated!
Moved to steroid cycles section........... good post bro you will get more action in this section ok.
Thanks, man.
Accutane sucks while you are using it and its really expensive but i did it in high school and havent had a cyst acne spot since...i used to be covered up in the shit cause i did test in high school( stupid i know) ugh tren will cause acne flares for me now but its not the bad kind... if you got the $ and insurance go to the doc but no cycling while on accutane
I had bad acne during my pct of my first tren cycle. I'm 33 and have many test/mast cycles under my belt. Never had a problem until first tren cycle. I tried everything. Here's what worked for me... When showering use plain ivory soap. After washing whole body turn off water. Mix up some baking soda and small amount of water. You want to make a paste. Paste affected area and leave on for 10 min or so. Rinse off with hot water. After shower I use a product made by Gunilla of Sweden. You can order online. Was skeptical at first but it worked great for me. I still use it for healthy skin and prevention of acne. On another note, I will never use accutane again nor recommend it. Hope this helps, acne sucks.
QtripsI have the same problem, not too bad though, just some pimples on face and back. I do take DHEA though, do you? I'm going to try lowering it to see if it's contributing to this acne.
I had horrible cystic acne on my back and shoulders for over a year after 2 of my cycles. I tried everything on the counter and eventually accutane. I was at 80mg a day of Accutane for 8 months with no relief. I had to wear a full shirt instead of a tank top because i would start to bleed while on a bench at gym. After 8 months of horrible sides, insurance would no longer cover it. A bro at gym suggested to try tanning booth. A month later, I was completly clear. I started tanning about 4 days a week for the first month, I now go about twice a week and you could never tell I had any issues with acne.
Damn, man. That's fucking hardcore acne. I am tanning every other day right now, but the acne is still consistent. :/ I can def notice a difference when tanning, but it isn't working wonders for me like that. My acne is well-contained for now... But it is definitely still here... Just not the enormous cystic shit it was before.
I have read on a separate forum from an expert BB about some stuff he swears by... I can not post the link here but if you are interested you can pm me... It is a topical and is relatively cheap... made by an underground supplier.. he pretty much says he suffered through bad acne on and off his cycles and uses this stuff to take care of it.. I am interested in getting some myself, my back is my problem area as well... the ECA cycle really kicked it up when I ran it, some were painful and cystic and I am cleanly mind you, it is really starting to bug me!!
BilMcbigballsSent u a friend request
Also read up on vitamin b5 and pantothenic acid working well after a few days couple weeks.. pretty inexpensive vitamins..
FR sent, bro.
during my cycle i didnt have acne until my roommate moved up here from arizona. he was used to ridiculous heat there. so he didnt want the ac on very often. i toughed it out and had full sweats if it was even just 75F in our living room. i didnt want to be a pussy, but it caused me to break out. i just started tanning and it is doing wonders on my acne. im so glad its cooled down since then.
So are you 23 now? And planning a third cycle?Give me ur real weight, height and REAL bodyfat % bro...
23, 5'10, 175 lbs, 10%.
hmmm your eroids stats say youre over 9000 yrs old, and 2.5%fat? but in reality you are 23 now, on you're planning a third cycle of aas.. is that right??
I notice if i run longer esters i get acne . but if i run test prop no acne at all lol
RustyhookerIm curious as to IF it's the test causing the harsh acne....would running a low test stack be easier on you. Eq has less conversion but still promotes solid gains. Low test/eq...like 250/500eq. Hope some of the big hitters jump in here.
I'd second that logic Rusty, at the op's age it's quite common for test even at mild doses to cause a breakout of cystic acne. Whilst I'm not a fan of cycling pre 25, low test and EQ would be an idea worth exploring.
I may give this a run and see how it goes if this next test cycle gives me trouble again.
If you need help setting up your cycle further down the line then feel free to drop me a line. I know EQ runs pretty well.
It very well could be, for all I know. My mid-cycle bloodwork last cycle showed my estradiol was within normal range while my test was way high. Idk. This stuff is not the easiest to figure out.
well one possibility is estrogen is out of whack and pre-cycle bloods will tell you if thats it. now if its persistant cystic acne i had that as a kid during puberty. as well as pimpes that were under the skin and were the size of an acorn. now they tried everything with me...creams, antibiotics, injections, nothing worked. what finally cured it was accutane and i have never has a single pimple since...not on cycle or in post. now i would go see a dermatologist about the accutane if you think its your only option. i know you can buy it from sources here but they really monitor you while your on it, ie monthly blood tests etc.
hope this helps bro
That helps a lot. See, I have thought about Accutane... But I am kinda sketched out about going to a doctor because of WHY I have the acne. Also, I do not have insurance to cover any of that shit right now. :( I have been trying to avoid using Accutane because of the countless fucking horror stories and so many people advising against it. I feel, though, that it may actually be a last resort thing. Well, that or just go back natty for the rest of my life. :/
Edit: I have read of people using it at a low dose, like 10mg a day, for a little while just to keep it contained and from getting out of hand? Any input on that? Also, how did your doctor have you run yours?
The others are correct. You don't need to tell the doctor you are on, just that you have acne.
Good choice holding off on the DECA! I just finished with NPP and it gave me body acne. I have not had that since a kid, but I'm using PROACTIVE that was given to me to help dry it out. Very, Very SLOW process.
Good Luck!!!
Wouldn't the doctor run blood tests and see that I am using the stuff anyway? I don't understand how I could just not tell him/her.
Accutane 10mg eod buddy.
Accutane is not a good idea, used this for 6 months and it drys the fuck out of u and can't forget it increases liver enzymes and causes lover damage. That on top of all the side effects from steriods doesn't sound fun
Have you had bad acne like this in the past?
I had severe cystic acne and yes accutane help but takes months , depending how bad ur acne is it prob wont do anything at 10mg... My Dermo gave me up to 80 mg a day. It worked wonders but the sides where harSh as fuck! A vitamin or mineral that helps a ton when it comes to acne is Zinc. Zinc is helping me control my post accutane breakouts. 100mg for the first week with food 50 mg morning and 50 mg at night ( make sure u eat it with food!) then after your first week just dose 50 mg at night before bed. I promise u will wake up with less zits and less red acne. You can look up benefits of zinc on skin on google if u don't believe me . But u can trust me bro:) lemme know if u got any further questions.
I'll give it a shot, bro!
the dr has no need to know what caused the acne...only that it is there. now this was over 5-6 years ago but im pretty sure i went as high as 40mg a day and ran it for around 6-8months. i was getting bloods done monthly, very harsh on the liver. The other thing is if you do use it get some lotion. my fucking face looked like i was a snake shedding its skin without it. but this is personally something i wouldnt do without a dr backing me....however i have insurance so it costs me next to nothing so i can see you getting it on here and running it yourself. if you do go that route i would advise google the shit out of it...many people will have shared their stories and what dose they ran for how long
Gotcha, man. I really appreciate your honest input. I have looked into it a bit, but always tried to avoid it like I said, but I will def dig into it a ton more before deciding to do it. And I keep moisturized every time I get out of the shower, like I said earlier in the original post, so that part prob wouldn't be a problem. Hmm.
yea sorry i skimmed alittle...honestly its the best thing ive ever done. tho not being able to drink as a high school kid for that long was hard lol. my dr told me from the start majority of people never get acne ever again after taking accutane so its probably your best bet with cystic acne
That is another good thing here. I do not drink. Nor do I smoke. I literally do zero drugs of any kind outside of my new endeavors in steroid supplementation, a slight bit of caffeine, and the occasional Benadryl... Ha.
Stats bro??
BilMcbigballsStats for acne? Lol! Seriously? If it will help you there a few posts up.
Yeah, Idk. That's why I didn't include more than my age and the situation in the original post. But, yeah. Ha. Answered up above.
