So Many People are Sick
Tonight a friend from eroids told me he is having surgery on his brian....just sunk my heart :(
There are so many ppl right now who i know personally who are sick, some gravely ill...one of my best friends of 32 years is very sick, my other friend that i know 35 years is battling metastazied breast cancer for the 5th time, my best friend in colorado just had her second visit to the e.r.,only to be misdiagnosed....my mom is sick and the doctors cant find whats wrong with her stomach....
far too many ppl, young ones included are sick....i kow its part of life but it just seems that sickness is as common as the cold these days and its very disheartening and saddening......
i realize this is not a happy subject but its why i fight so vehemently for clean air, clean water, clean food, because i know all this is playing a monumental part in the prevelance of disease....even myself, who does everything right, and has been for over two decades has had to battle sickness....
if things dont change in this world soon, we are gonna have more than 70% of the population suffering very debilitating diseases and sadly none of us are exempt....

oh D love struck is the one sickness that can't kill you....it may cause a slow torture in your stomach but its sorta that pleasure/pain thing.....so buy some flowers and a box of gum and get ready for the love ride!! ;)

I'm feeling pretty fortunate right now about my health. My prayers go out to those who are less then healthy. I think it is harder to say what exactly is the cause for these illnesses. Some of it is genetic. Lifestyle effects Health. What we consume affects Health. Drug use affects health. It only takes a slip up in the body's defenses to contract an illness. I just try and make healthy decisions. I don't expect the government to make healthy decisions for me or anything. I generally want the government involvement in businesses to be minimal. I wouldn't mind strict regulations on gmos and chemicals used in processing foods. The government isn't regulating the right things it seems like.
Thats for sure the government is def regulating all the wrong things....the actually wanna regulate supplements now i.e. vitamins and minerals, herbs, etc
AnonThats because the vitamin companies dont have as good of a lobying group as the pharmacuetical companies. Who ever has the most money gets the least regulation. Come on now you know since Reagan or maybe before the US government does whatever big business wants them to do.
Whens the last time GE paid their taxes ? But what happens to small business or citizens if they do the same ? The US has the highest corporate tax rate in the world, yet has the lowest collection rate. Does that make sense to you ?
no no none of it makes sense to me...I am incensed by ALL of it....corporate greed ruined America...fortunately Americans somewhere in them remember why this country was started and hopefully that memory will push through to their conscious minds past all the reality tv, narcotics, big pharma drugs, and programming by mainstream media, and we'll take back our country....it's prob me just dreaming but I have a son and I can almost feel in my bones his future is not the one I had hoped for him, so I fight for him and all ppl that deserve the right to freedom and to vibrant health! if ppl wanna destroy their health that's their decision but all these toxins and poisons are robbing the right for us to choose at all!
There will never be definitive cures for chronic illness as long as pharmaceutical companies are making millions off of treatments.
That is the absolute truth! pharmaceutical companies are prob the biggest purporters of ill health on that planet, in fact they've created a new disease call Shift Work Disorder SWD and they have a pill for it too Nuvigil, who cares that some of the side affects read as follows: may result in hospitilization and be life threatening...

I believe environment has a huge factor in health. I grew up in a town where so many people seem to get cancer. The neighborhood I grew up in, a line of houses on the street all had someone with cancer, including my mother. Europe is far ahead of the US with being proactive and cleaning things up, running leaner and greener.

AnonYou say things need to change in this world , but as far as I know a whole list of chemicals we ingest on a daily basis have been banned in Europe . I'll have to double check but I believe Gatorade can not be sold in Europe . So before you go changing the world double check, it might be a problem primarily located in the US .
I havent checked in a while ( I should have looked in to it before posting ) but I do believe we have a higher rate of disease than many other developed nations, and Im fairly certain there are quite a lot of countries with lower infant mortality. But dont you worry big business will regulate its self and would never do anything to poison you, and dont worry the medical industry would never do anything to create repeat business.
You are right about that bec GMO's are banned in europe and it wld not surprise me that gatorade is not sold there eirther bec it contains flame retardent....What i refer to as global is the Geoengineering as well the U.S meats and vaccines...if the infant mortailty rate is lower its surely bec other countries do not have the same vaccine schedule we do. Bill Gates and his Eugenics program have unscroupously brought vaccinations to Africa now, where children are dying from the vaccines too...in india the farmers were commiting suicide fom Monsanto's BP cotton seeds when their crops failed....This is a small example of why i say its a Global problem...but Americans by far are the sickest healthwise....

One reason people get sick and don't deserve it is because even if they do right in every day life they still eat crap that the FDA says is healthy but actually not. In this day and age you're eating cancerous food a 6 months of age all processed shit with barely any micro nutrition and then it pays forward til your body breaks down and you get a terminal illness. Socrates was right when he said let food be thy medicine and Medicine be thy food.

vvv i spend more time at the dr than my younger brother who is 6'1" 137lbs who smokes a pack a day. its random is all i can say. sad to see it happen because i see it everyday as well. have a bestfriend who was paralyzed at the age of 17 it just is random and theres nothing we can do unfortunately

Mike1982AMEN. I won't explain my condition here as people who have followed me on here know my issues. Just never thought this young I would have such an early expiration date. But I'm fighting to change that. But the Alayna is right, what the hell is going on. I've had zero medical problems, never had a cold, only my tonsels taken put when I was six and now this fuckin shit. Makes me wonder if these mass conditions are on purpose.
Now wait a minute... If they drink I'm sure there are not getting off "Scotch" free.
