imsom12My gym has a track in it 10 min walk jamming out to my iPod getting pumped for my killer workout!!
AnonDepends the day but yea delt circles
Leg day stairs for 5 minutes level 9
jiimytattoo75yeah walking treadmill for 5 mims or so to get the blood flowing and then roator cuffs
I walk the gym for 15mins checking out the hot chicks..
i do foam rolling - on only squat and deadlift days. I hit the lower back, hams, & glutes - i feel it's allowing me to not be so tight. So far, so good - i've been less sore during & after workouts - lifts going up as well.
10 minutes on treadmill - 5 fast walking/5 running
Couple sets of light weights for 20-30 reps each.
I do 1 set of warm up of every exercise I do. Light/moderate weight 15 reps. Then to the heavy stuff.
Same here, a warm-up set for each new lift that I do. The warmup set will be approximately 5-20lbs lighter than what I really lift.
Before any of my warm-up sets I also warm-up with some quick stretching, then about 5-10 minutes of interval-style cardio. If I'm feeling tired and sluggish that particular day I will do some jump rope beforehand to try and jump-start my system and get me in the zone.
I dont usually do anything
Just straight into lifting heavy
Its probably not the best idea
I could get away w that in my early 20s before injury now it's a full on warm up routine. Speed bag, lateral raises, abs etc.
Lol well if it works for you than do it, I'm kinda the same way to be now, I stopped cardio, I get to the gym, stretch, do 15 pull-ups and than heavy lifting lol

I usually do some running to warm up my body before start my weight workouts.
I also do push ups, pull ups, and sits ups along with running to warm up the body more quickly.
BirmonThere's a speed bag at my gym so I pound on that for a few 1 min rounds and in between try to jump rope for 1 min. It really get the blood flowing and warms up your shoulders nicely. Plus you look like a badass beating the speed bag like you're straight out of Rocky. Of course I looked like an idiot for a few months until I got good at it, but it was worth it.
To be honest I just do a few warm up sets of whatever exercises I am going to do
Agreed. If you're doing the correct form of your exercise, a full stretch of the muscle is included.
Light sets of whatever workout I'll be doing. Usually ramp up to my first set if it's something on the heavier side at the beginning of my workout.
I stretch everything out real good and then do 1 light set of the exercise I am going to do and then jump into my working sets right away.
Depends what in working that day honestly. I always pre exhaust my quads but if I'm doing chest I make sure to warm my elbows up on rope extension usually 2 warm up sets of those auto get some blood in there if I'm doing bi's ill do a few sets of db curls really light weight to make sure I'd don't hurt anything
No1Nothing
1jakd_hipyRub one out PWO
Lmaoooooo I do that pre, post, during.... some of the guys hate it when I leave the rack all sticky, but that's what chalk is for, right???
