My PCT Dilemna - Advice/Opinions appreciated.

ad

Maybe this will get more responses here than in the PCT section......

With just a few days left in this EBC, PCT is just around the corner. My dilemna is not in regards to which meds to run and at what dosages. My dilemna is how to continue in regards to my nutrition and training.

This is the first cycle in which I have leaned out considerably, as well as put on what I believe to a handful of lbs worth of quality mass. Now, if this were a typical bulk cycle I would usually just up my calories slightly, decrease my cardio a little and try to maintain the new mass while accepting a slight increase in BF.

So without making this any longer than it already is, my questions are:

Is it best to keep my diet/macros as they currently sit to best maintain my current status?

Is it best to up my cals to maintain my new lbm and then worry about cutting any added bf at a later time?

Is it best to keep cals low to maintain leaness while possibly losing some of the new lbm?

Is it best to increase or decrease workout frequency/intensity as well as cardio?

Basically I am looking for personal opinions and experiences from others who have been in the same situation coming off a cycle wanting to maintain a lower BF whilst holding as much of the newly aquired lbm as possible.

Thanks and sorry for the long ass read.

One other thing to consider during PCT is using creatine. I don't take it while on cycle but when off cycle I start it back up. It helps to "fill" out my muscles a little bit and adds back a little weight. Seems to help with pumps in the gym too.

thanks, that is something I usually do also, helps a little bit to keep the strength up thats for sure.

Well Ive got some serious reading to do on igf as well as clen in PCT. I think it makes a lot of sense to accept a small bf increase as opposed to a loss in lbm as the bf can be quickly rid of post pct. I am realky going to have to keep the diet dialed in, I will likely drop from the 5-6 days per week I have been training to 3-4 , cut the cardio down a tad as well as the number of sets I am doing. I will also be reading up on Osta.

Any other suggestions or personal preferences keep em coming,.

One other thing you may want to look into during PCT is the use of SARMS. I am currently taking Ostarine and S4 (along with Clen) and cutting right now to get my BF as low as possible for my upcoming cycle. The SARMS keep your body in a slightly anabolic state but they will not shut you down if dosed correctly. SARMS are nowhere near the power of AAS but I think they might be a good bridge between cycles to maintain gains. I have dropped 1.5% BF and gained over two pounds while cutting. I have never actually ever been able to gain weight while cutting so I am fairly impressed with this SARM/Clen cycle and I am definitety going to incorporate them into my next PCT.

I just finished cuttig cycle now in week 2 of pct. Using clen and igf lr3 so far so good. I am eating nonstop. I mean nonstop

seems igf1lr3 is becoming very popular for pct, thanks for the post.

I drop my calories back down to baseline if i am bulking and bring them back up if I was cutting. Be sure to account for the additional lean mass when calculating your baseline. As you probably know your body is going to be in a more catabolic state during PCT and stressing it more with a restricted calorie diet is probably not a good idea. Once your out of PCT then you could try cutting again to lose some more BF. I also like to take Clen when I PCT. It has anti-catabolic properties as well and it should help to keep you stay slim, especially with some light cardio. Also has the added benefit of keeping my energy levels up which can be a problem during PCT sometimes.

I always drop the intesity of my workouts during PCT also. Instead of lifting 5-6 days/wk while on cycle I drop it back down to 3-4 days with light cardio on my non-lifting days. Otherwise I find that I overtrain which is not a good thing when trying to spare your muscle in PCT.

Good point, definately easier to shed a couple lbs of fat than build a few lbs of muscle and will surely look into the igf1-lr3.
