danieljohnsonEating watercress regularly can help us prevent diabetes. With the presence of alpha-lipoic acid in its content, one of top health benefits of watercress is to promote the diabetes treatment.
This antioxidant is effective to reduce your glucose levels, raise the insulin sensitivity as well as protect diabetic patients from oxidative stress .
Research on the effectiveness of alpha-lipoic acid indicated that it might reduce peripheral neuropathy.

hello man. have some questions. are you using insulin? if yes, do you use it more often while training? what about during the cycle?
Anonhey moparshawn I have type 1 diabetes I am taking HGH and testosterone I am feeling fine. I suggest you to start with HGH as well as many collateral effects of diabetes are contrasted by this peptide if you can handle it it will be fine, I suggest you to keep your blood sugar low. When it is high for a long time muscle are going to grow smaller and smaller everytime you have an hyperglicemia. High sugar destroys your muscular tissues and does not allow to your body to produce HGH which helps the body to mantain all the tissues in good condition so take it in mind.
Pippino you should stop taking hgh immediately! I have had type 1 diabetes for 20 years, just last week i was diagnosed with severe proliferative diabetic retinopathy. I like most diabetics get a yearly eye exam to monitor this, 8 months ago my last eye exam did not show any signs. I started reading every research paper i could find about D retinopathy, treatments, what peptides might help. I thought it was also coincidental that I started taking BPC 157 about 6 months ago, which apparently has no side effects and heals everything. only to find out that BPC 157, hgh, and other GHRFs are only going to exasperate diabetic retinopathy. One of the treatments uses VEGF inhibitors to reduce new vessel growth. I never would have thought all of these things we take to increase healing and recovery could be doing so much damage.
AnonI just read some paper concerning what you just told me, but actually from the other point of view hgh helps in many points where diabetes does not, for instance healing. So it has its positive and negative effects.
Besides you bumping a four year old thread, the OP hasn't been on eroids for two and a half years. You should check that I the profile before you waste time.
You realise you're replying to a 4 year old thread?
Anonit does not matter, because someone else with my same illness can read the post today
That may be fella but the point of the forum is to get help from members who are currently active. Bumping a 4 year old thread manse by someone who has not been online for sometime is not going to get you the type of attention and detail you may need. My advise that I would give anyone seriously looking for advise or to share knowledge to to research and then make a new post staring the findings and/or asking question/for help. Good luck.
hey thanks for the good info here guys. in not on any type of insulin. i was in a few pills but the doctor took me off theme becouse im doing really good with my diet and keeping my blood glucose levels really in check. its never over 110. at the most. now my doctor is cool but i dont think he would give me any ok on doing any type of cycle ect. and i understand with laws and ect...now the thing is my doctor has bumped my up on the test from 300 a mo tow 600 a month. becouse it can help control my diabetes better from what he is thinking..idk lol but im game. so i guess ill see were it gos from here..but if i do a cycle i will log it..i might try a test cycle in a few weeks on 500mg a week for 2 weeks just to kinda see how it go's..
Best of luck man! My buddy who had the same issues as you is doing Great. I don't know the direct effect on testosterone to insulin levels but it has turned everything around for him. He is in excellent health.
Insulin and roids is a deadly combo. Community...forums...Aerok
Unfortunately no studies have taken diabetics and administered steriods to them
Non that I know of anyways
The ultimate detail to observe is the blood glucose levels
But also remember that cholesterol and other blood values can be affected simply from the steriods themselves
As hormones rise such as Test levels , your endocrine system compensated and other values are easier to become raised as well
Be it estrogen or insulin ect...
Your levels need to be well controlled and able to accurately be monitored
Things like this should be discussed with your doctor in a professional setting
Not a forum
I know for a fact that steriods can be used by diabetics as we see this is HRT but the doses of a cycle are often three to ten times a HRT dose!
I will say this
I am type one
I have done three cycles
I have mastered diabetes education and work in the health field and I can tell you diabetes can cause uncontrollable blood sugar fluctuations as any diabetic will tell you!
I have concerns that steriods can inhibit the control over blood glucose levels
I believe you must discuss this with an MD and also be prepared to double up on your control measures what ever they may be!
Take care and be smart and remember that after your cycle the whole point is to be healthier not just bigger and doing the appropriate measures to have this outcome is possible but disaster and damage to your body if not carefully run is also a possibility!
Lastly I could talk day about insulin and anabolic effects
But I will end with only one statement
Yes insulin is THE most powerful anabolic available today
But you will die if your a non diabetic that try's to use insulin to gain mass
And really being big and six fet under means nothing to anyone
So DO NOT USE INSULIN IN ANY MANNER UNLESS DIRECTED BY Medical Doctors (endocrinologists)
Anonwell I believe that steroids do not cause almost any effect on glucose absorption done by insulin. But HGH does, and brutally. Based on what I learned you have to get used to the big changes to both low.high HGH levels and low high IGF levels. As IGF creates opposite effects to the HGH ones so when you start to inject HGH you should handle very many things alltogether. In practice: you will have low absorption of glucose, which means double the amount of insulin after 6-10 hoursr after the HGH injection as well as reducing the amount, after 18-24 hourse after the injection as usually in this time the IGF levels are high and HGH come back to normal (as IGF helps the cells to absorb insulin while HGH reduce this capability). The bad absorption is mostly on what you eat during this time rather than the amount automatically by our body. But, despite that, be careful also during nights (if you inject HGH in the mornings) because hypoglicemia may incur as during this time IGF sticks high and HGH low. Actually the "helpiing" effect of IGF is way weaker the the "difficulties" caused by HGH in the absorption of sugar's molecules by the cells (studied done on experience) I usually inject 2.8 IUs.
You may also need to change your usually-fixed Lantus.
remember I am talking for type 1 diabetics.
I know a guy who was diagnosed with diabetes. I don't know if it was type 1 or type 2 but I know for sure he didn't use an insulin injection. He started using test cyp and in a few weeks noticed he started feeling much better. By the time he went to the doctor a couple months later he was in perfect health. The doctor said "well i've never seen the meds work that well". He had all perfect numbers. When he came to me for advice on testosterone dosing and ester choice, I put him on 250mg ew of cyp. he is 52 years old. He stopped taking the meds and told the doc what was up. He is now a certified TRT patient and in excellent health. The doctor wasn't happy about him treating himself and stopping his meds, but when he saw how testosterone turned this guy around he followed up and prescribed it. I am by no means telling you to jump in on AAS. I am just sharing a personal experience. Best of luck brother!
Good stuff bro! Thanks for sharing
Anonwell, not sure about the concept of cycling and stacking compounds, ill let VIKING or Tread give their .02 on that, but as for TRT, science will show us that testosterone provides ATP to the Krebs cycle and increases insulin sensitivity. So although this is just brushing the surface, maybe getting on a TRT plan would actually better the overall state of your issue.
