These Replacement NFL Officials Suck Ass
ad
Okay, enough is enough bring back the professional officials before it gets worse. The game has lost all integrityand these bullshit calls are fucking up the game. If the NFL thinks that call at the end of the Green Bay game was legit, then they all need to be fired. We all need to hit the NFL where it counts, the pocket book, this is the only way to get through to them. We need to boycott any and all NFL activities: don't watch or go to any games, do not buy any merchandise etc...because as long as they are making money they don't care about what is happening to the game.

tread-mBOOOOOOOM!!!!! NOW THERES THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY DESERVE A RAISE!
Agreed. We finally touched base on what's important: the cheerleaders.
CleyonHell yeah! Those hotties only make $50 a game!
That game was pure BS i couldnt believe that call didnt get overturned in the review. Is it really that hard to bring in some competent refs? They must have tens of thousands of possible canidates they could hire, that would be just as good or better than the ones on strike. So it makes me wonder
OR maybe the refs were making shit calls ON PURPOSE. are they getting bribed by the union maybe? No halfway decent ref would make the calls they made that night!
tread-mNice points, everyone on planet earth saw that infamous play in its reality except the refs.
You get what you pay for and if anyone knows this, it should be the NFL but they got their heads so far up their asses, they don't give a shit what is happening.
just seen on espn a deal is real close i guess that Monday night game pushed it in over drive
tread-mNot there falt brother, its greedy union official crying that working 20 weekends a year is just too much work for the current 15ok they make + benefits. I'll do it for 150k ! Keep in mind these guys have day jobs too. So basically they are in walk out becasue about 8k a game + benefits is not enough money. 2 g's an hour ....poor replacements don't know their ass from a hole in the grounf no doubt but they got thrown into it and I bet they don't get 8 g's a game.
I understand. But, the NFL makes billions of dollars every year and they can't give these officials a better pension? The NFL is the greedy ones imo. I know a Packers player personally, and he even said, that he is willing to give up part of his salary in order to bring back the officials. If you remember, the players went through this shit with the NFL last year or the prior year. Give these guys what they deserve and restore the integrity back in football.
tread-mI don't agree that what the NFL makes has anything to do with what officials make at all. "Give these guys what they deserve"...I believe anyone on this planet would work a part time job for 150k plus benefits. We're talking about an amount of work here that is equal to you or I working in one month...150' brother plus benefits, how is that not what they deserve. Players are different in that they are the very reason the money is being made and brought into the organization. We'll just agree to disagree because I can never get to a place by where I think a part time job is worthy of more than that sort of cash/benefits/retirement. Now they want 200 k for a part time job and better benfits? Hell we're talking Doctor money brother to work a part time job and remember, its half the damn yr.
CleyonI'm going to go over to the sporting goods store and see if they have a jersey with my favorite refs name and number on it! LOLOLOLOL
tread-mHells yeah, I'm going to get one of that badass hotdog salesman too, that Nooka got game! Lol...no but seriously, this thinking is like saying I work for walmart as a door greeter and deserve my share of the companies profits. The world should not work that way. They offer a job and salary and your rights afford you the ability to accept or deny that job. Thats the free market system and it works.
CleyonThat right there is the socialism, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" Directly out of the Communist Manifesto. These idiots have fallen for Communism because people have sold them the bill of goods.
Facts are your work is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That's how players salaries have raised since the abismall low points in the mid 20th century. I was SHOCKED to learn that the zebras got paid as much as they do. I don't think they're worth that much, but someone is willing to pay it, so I guess they are.
Fuck it. Keep these lousy ass high school/college officials and see where the game goes from there.
tread-mLol...I don't want themm either brother but do we just let the union place the amount they want on everything? Thats inflation in itslef because shit rolls down hill. If everyone thought that way bread would be 50 bucks a loaf because these bread companies amke a lot of money and the bread baggers deserve whatever they want. I agrre with you mostly but to get above 150 k + benefits for a part time seasonal job is insane to me.
CleyonThis is how they killed the American Auto companies, and how they are about to destroy the american airline industry. These unions are great at driving companies into the ground!
Killed the auto industry? lol. A serve economic downfall and piss pour management killed the auto industry. Unions give people equality and the right for fair wages and benefits. Well, Fuck it, go work in a hot ass factory for 16 hours a day for minimum wage.
tread-mAll non-union plants have done great with good wages btw, the failure has been the union controlled companies. Hell even the unions have backed off knowing they are a pararsite about to kill the host hence killing themselves. Union participation down by the yr etc. Union once served a great purpose and some still do but many have detroyed the idea behind the union being fainess. Now its about lining pockets at the top and brainwashing. Saw one union team on the news yesterday saying the company really should have no say in the direction of the company????????????loool so we wonder why jobs are outsourced? Look I won't bash all unions there are good people in every corner of every group but in those same groups theres also that prick that wants to kill it for his own gain. This ref deal is one of those. These guys make waaaay beyond fair wages, hell they make whyat some docs and lawyers do and again, we're talking about part time refs for F sake. These guys didn't split a fing atom or solve the energy crisis or find the cure for cancer....refs for a game working part time. 150 k plus benefits would send 99% of American workers into the streets in celebration and these fools want more.
Having a union means job security, so companies can't act like gods and take advantage of workers. Hell, if you Fuck something up because you were forced to work another 8 hour shift, the company could say, Fuck you and your family, you're fired; however, a union backed plant will fight for your job.
tread-mI guess you'll have to explain that to the hundreds of thousands of union workers who have lost their jobs this last couple yrs. Such as GM we spoke of earlier. We don't have to explain it to non-unionized car makers employees because they all still have a job. A few had to work an extra 7 hrs bu they came home with paychecks and were damn happy about it in a recession. Again, not bashing all unions but not supporting most. They have become parasites that kill the host hence killing themselves. A smart parasite allows the host to survive. Btw, don't take me as arguing, I like you and just debating but we're still rock solid Nooka!!! Lol
It's all good. A good debate never hurt anyone. I've always worked in a union shop. We are currently voting on a 3 yr. contract that gives us extra $5000 over the course of the contract. This includes a 4.5% pay increase which imo doesn't cover inflation. The company wanted to take away all retiree's and current employees health care and do away with pensions. If we didn't have a union then this would have happened. Now, on the flip side, the salary workers get no less than a 2% pay raises EVERY year and amatched 401 k plan. Go figure!
CleyonLet's see I'm the past four years the median household income has dropped by 8.4% and you're whining that a 4.5 increase doesn't cover inflation? For those of us who have taken huge pay cuts I'm the recent past because the union controlled parts of the company wouldn't take even a little pay cut I... Well I'll be civil, but this post makes me think you are worthless and I hope your contract bankrupts the company so that maybe your brainwashing will clear a little. And your comment on the salary employees makes me call bullshit.
Iam not complaining. Iam voting for it. You probably are way over paid if you had to take a fucking huge paycut. I asked a foreman the other day what type of raises do they get and that is what he told me. Here is another example, another foreman got a promotion this year and guess what, a fucking 10% pay increase and he told me this himself. So, Fuck off if you don't believe me...lol
CleyonPromotions aren't raises, it's a promotion. Additionally, yeah, I probably do make more than you, but I am pretty sure I could step in and do your job with minimal training, and it would take you a decade or more to learn to do my job. That's the difference, the poor man mentality is what keeps you there, not the big bad company.
CleyonLet's see, Toyota factory here in Texas doing fine with non-union personel, while the Chevy plant in Arlington has shut down do to labor costs. You tell me. Instead of pretending that things will go back to how they were in the 1880s if the unions don't get there way, admit that they did a good job, then they got greedy and at this point do more harm then good in about 90% of the cases.
CleyonIT'S A PART TIME JOB! Who the hell gets a pension from a part time job? Oh no, the NFL makes billions of dollars! How dare they! What is this type of crap? When did people become so petty?
Teachers. They don't work all year. Okay, here is how greedy the NFL is: they review every game including preseason to look for personal fouls that were missed during the game. You know why? To fine the players. Now, tell me that isn't greed.
tread-mTeachers don't make 150 k brother and they work a hell of a lot more hrs than nfl officials. Now theres a worthy fight though when co.pared to a ref working a couple hundred hrs a yr.
Professors can make six figures, bro. These guys are good at what they do and as we seen this past week not everybody can handle refereeing the fast past game such as the NFL, not even college officials. The just proved to the whole world that they are worth every penny. This isn't coming from just me bro, the NFL players and a lot of other people say give them the raise. What is there like 100 officials in the league?
tread-mBrother just hear yourself, you are comparing refs and professors? Thats like comparikng my ice cream man and my physician. The icecream man does a great fing job, hits me right on time with a quality bomb pop every week but he's still an ice cream man. Lol...seriously you know what we're saying here surely. We're talkming a paycheck yr round of 4500 bucks a week to
Work annually the number of hrs you and I do in a month with full benefits....thats not fair? In what world is that not fair?
No. You said teachers don't make a lot of money and I was just stating that some do.
tread-mOh I gotcha, yeah I suppose some do but they should. By the way, refs should make good money and instead they make incredible money and I'm fine with that but at some point its enough. I'm happy they make killer money and they do a "pretty good" job so I'm happy there too. I believe your comment "you get what you pay for" as well. Problem is the guys we paid for didn't show up to work last weekend, the rigors of an 80 hr work yr was just too much for them and who could blame them when only making 4500 bucks a week yr round for averaging working 3 hrs a week ! Oh yeah, and full benefits. I luv our refs as much as anyone brother but theres nothing unfair about their salaries.
CleyonDepends on the professor, but even then the professor's at that level are required to write their own text books, create the syllibus for the class, and usually are also doing research on the side for that type of money. Not a good comparison.
CleyonOh no! They actually review game tape, and fine players for "Personal Fouls". Here I've provided the definition for you.
"A conduct- or safety-related infraction. Includes unnecessary roughness, such as hitting a ball carrier after he is already out of bounds, "piling on" a ball carrier who is already down, or violent contact with an opponent who is away from and out of the play. If the officials decide that the action was particularly flagrant, the player in question can be ejected from the game."
Maybe they do this to keep guys from taking cheap shots knowing that there are some players who will take those types of shots if they think the refs aren't looking, but if they know they can get a hefty fine after the fact they'll think twice about it.
Yeah, those greedy bastards! How dare they try to keep players from purposely injuring other players!
Edit - Sorry I'm being an ass, someone pissed in my cherrios today.
What do they do with the money they get from the fines? Do they give it to the player that was hit? No. They keep the money. If they weren't greedy and if they gave two shits about the game, then why are they reducing those player's suspension by half? Oh wait, they may reduce it even more. Why? Because they don't want to spend money on a long trial. Ducking cheap bastards.
CleyonI don't know, maybe it's part of t enourmously subsidised health insurance plan that the players get. I'm sure it's not real cheap to insure people who's job is to hit each other as hard as they can. Why don't you ask that question? or better yet, if you aren't willing to actually look into that stuff before you get all "they make too much money" then just vote for Obama again and feel good about yourself.
Yeah, because Mitt Romney cares. He cares about investing in other countries and if you think his number one priority is the people, then you sir are mistaken. He is all about Corporate America and don't give a shit about the middle class.
