Football season is here again, healthy snacks for watching the game??
So my Pats kicked off at 1 pm yesterday, I cracked a beer 10 minutes prior. The eighteen or so that followed I'm sure is why I'm bloated today. But I have a feeling the fact that I ate CRAP all day has something to do with it as well. Buffalo chicken dip, pigs in a blanket, french onion dip, chips, toasted homemade white bread... just a few of the finger foods I consumed while watching the pigskin all day. All the food was served to me, I watch the games away from home, but next time I want to bring something with me. Healthier foods, and a few bottles of water. Please post some ideas of protien packed, low sodium, etc.. your favorite finger foods, whatever you love to eat while watching games, or with a group of people. yeah yeah yeah I know, knock off all the beer... ain't gonna happen. no, I didn't make it to the gym today...

My favorite is i bake a bunch of non-breaded chicken tenderloins and then toss them in some franks red hot sauce which has 0 calories. The just serve em with a side of celery and light ranch. You can take it a step further and buy Walden Farms Calorie Free Ranch Dressing. Its sugar free, t doesn't have aspartame, no gluten, no fat, carb free, cholesterol free, and preservative free. Low calorie protein packed snack perfect for game time my man! Especially if you like buffalo wings!
