What do you do with your oats?

I need to change it up. Not eating oats as often as I used to. What I've been doing is putting the quaker original oats in a cereal bowl, then covering with total raisin bran. Add milk and let the oats sit for a few, then mix and eat. Tastes pretty good, but getting boring. I guess I could try different cereals. I've heard some people put it in their shakes... I've tried it and swallowing oats with a drink felt horrible. Any ideas? What do YOU do?

Do this the night before.
In some Tupperware put in oats, 2 scoops chocolate whey, couple tablespoons of natty pb and use a little milk to make it a thick soupy consistency. Refrig overnight (it will thicken) and a quick breakfast is served.

Apple sauce added before cooking in microwave. Cinnamon applesauce.

That actually sounds really delicious. But I've heard it's better for some reason to eat them uncooked. I don't think I've had applesauce since last december, gonna hafta pick some up. Thanks!

I put my oats in my coffee grinder then shake it up with my protein powder. Works good.

Just throw it in a blender with your protein shake, when it's nice and blended you can hardly taste it.

Yeah I've tried that, it's not the taste that bothers me. It's swallowing the unchewed, uncooked oats that just doesn't feel right. I think my blender just sucks though, it's wicked old, so that might have something to do with it.

Yea if everything had to taste good in diet and shakes nobody would get anywhere lol.......chug chug chug!!!
