+ 2 Does anyone else find it just fucking absurd that there is a teenage division in Bodybuilding Comps!!??!?!?!?!?
On my quest for glory tonight I noticed something I had never really noticed before. Sitting back with the audience after pre-judging waiting to jump on stage for my routine later in the night, I hear "now for the teenaqe category". 1 by 1 they stroll out, the next kid bigger then the other. Only these kids carry 19" gunz with loaded 6 packs on an X-Frame. WTF!???!? Some how has society made it acceptable for kids to juice up for comps??? we fucking sat there applauding these little fuckers for their great physiques, encouraging them to take more juice, take more risks, come back with a bigger and better package next time around (if there is a next time). Scrap this fucking teenage competition bullshit, the ifbb is a fucking joke, they dont even drug test these kids. If they were to compete it should be on a level playing field, all natural, PERIOD! These are kids for fucks sake, they should'nt even be put under the stress of competition so we should'nt even give them the option!
For the parents; knowing how self conscious your teenagers are, firstly would you let them enter a bodybuilding comp? Secondly would you let them juice up so just to be competitive? I expect a firm NO! and a firmer HELL FUCKING NO!
Just because these are not our kids, it doesnt mean we should watch them compete in to oblivion.
Tonight I was beaten fair and square by a 22yr old, he'll beat himself in 5 years.
I compete because I love it, I love the crowd, love my wife and daughter cheering me on, love showing off the years of dedication, committment, discipline and sheer hard work that has gone in to what I have become. At the end I win because I do what I love, I dont need a 1st place trophy, this doesnt define a man.
Win at all costs??!?!?!> Not on my life!

phil113kgI started competing at the age of 19 and had myself fully immersed in the whole aspect of BB on that kind of level naturally. Did two shows in my teens and went off into the military with the hardest body the D.I's have ever seen. My point is; it was a good experience for me to know the limits of my body. I learned something about setting realistic goals and worked hard to achieve them. I was not like most teenagers who partied, drank and got into trouble. No the gym kept me straight and the comps taught me something about myself. It ignited a passion in me that I will take to my grave. As they say, once a BB always a BB. Now do I condone the use of SED at that age? NO but to each his own. Some of our greatest BB we admire started early in life and we applaud them, purchase their endorsed products, watch their youtube videos and are inspired by them to be our best. So I believe there is a double standard in this topic of the use in young athletes wether that is senior hight football, track and field etc.
Thats nothing... check this out:

and I had two cousins that were each Mr.Teen USA (Natty) but that was 25 yrs ago : /
wow, very disturbing and for some reason i suspect that his development for that age is not natural, mainly being that the body doesnt start to produce testosterone to a level for building muscle until puberty. oh and in addition to this there was a boy a few years back who was touted as being the most ripped child around, after working out at such a young age damages growth plates in the young undeveloped body and hes now in his teens and only 4'11" very sad
Do you know whats even worse? they got a youtube channel... but tbh the kids look like they enjoy it, thats what I think anyway, people will probably disagree!

That's fucking crazy! Child abuse
samick94i know most people think that this kid is on juice(me included) but there ARE freaks out there. my bro had a full out shredded 6 pack when he was 7. there are still pics of him from then(if i find em ill throw it up). i mean who know this kid might be natty
firstly i am sorry you didnt win brother!i was sure you would have a good shout for a 1st place, never mind at least you enjoyed the ride like you say thats the best buzz.

Totally and whole heartedly agree with you about the teens competing its just the same here in the uk,some even went as low in age as 14 in last years comps!imagine the damage done to a 14yr old body with gym strain and heavy dieting WTF.
At this years shows i will be leaving when this group appears its a big NO NO for me personally.
End of the day its all down to choices again, only yesterday suzy b and myself were in the local supermarket doing the weekly shop, suze is now 5wk out and looking hard and ripped i must have counted over 100 people mostly women staring in disbelief like she was some kind of alien.our choice we have to cope with the differing beliefs. Good post brother shows you are a man with a heart and know where you stand in life.
Now its all over go eat some shit and a ton of carbs me and you gotta get busy planning this next bulking run Hahahahahah
I will also be leaving when these catergories are up. Previously I have never noticed them because Ive been so absorbed in my self i wasnt aware of what the fuck was going on around me
Its all good brother, I was a biscuit away from competing with the heavyweights I would have won hands down but I wanted to compete with the best in australasia in the most challenging class, so much depth in the under 100. Not the first time Ive lost and wont be the last. But this just spurs my motivation.
Suzyb is definately something to be stared at LOL
Looking forward to giving the body a rest and eating whatever the fuck I want haha.
Your input in my next bulking cycle will be highly valued
Society has changed so much just in the last 5yrs alone. Anything goes nowaday. Sad, but true. Most human beings have abandoned the whole idea of "consequences to bad choices." Every decision a person makes is going to take them somewhere, good or bad. Terrible to see thats no longer taught by most.
