Cycle for a fighter

ad

I am new here but would like to get you guys opinion on what the best substance to take for a grappler or MMA fighter. Read below at my past experiences and if you got any advice I will gladly accept.

Anavar - I seem to get very strong but the muscles get tight and stiff and yes I actually gain weight on Var. I love Var as a mild lifting cycle where I do not worry about cardio or weight. I do thin out in my trunk and face, but the only bad thing is the muscle tightness and the weight gain.

Test - I have only ran test (cyp) once in my life and while I felt amazing, cut weight fairly easy while maintaining strength and my cardio and intensity was insane while training..I for some reason had a hell of a time with PC issues. My sex drive and aggression dropped for quite a while. Even when it started to come back it came back slowly..weight gain started in and overall horrible feeling of being a weak pussy set in. I ordered some Anastrazol and that seemed to make it worse so I gave in and just toughed it out...horribly depressing experience but i was a newb. After 6-8 weeks my test came back to a healthy high end rating.

Test gel - A friend gave me several boxes of this and while I did not see any huge strength or weight changes, I did feel a little more intensity in my training and a rise in sex drive. This seemed to work well as a very mild motivator and there were no bad sides even when stopping cold turkey.

Thoughts on something I can run with a little boost of intensity, few sides and fairly safe for weight gain and PCT issues?

I only use short ester in the run up towards fights. I like TNE, t-prop, NPP.

Nandrolone Phenyl Propionate. Short estered Deca

How about trying NPP at a low dose with test? I like it. It's a short estered deca basically. Minimal water retention. Still good gains

Im 40yrs old with MMA background and a lot of ice hockey over the years. My 19yr old does local ama events. He thought it would be cool for the two of us be on a card together later this year. I agreed, I think I got still got some good fight left in me! I thought about how to go about leveling the playing field for my stamina and strength level for that of a younger fighter...so I based what im doing off this article here.. http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sex_news_sports_funny_grok/s... the article is from '04 but it was the easiest source that i trusted..imo. I may look into adding something else but for now mainly EQ with some test and deca for my abused joints.

If I were you I would keep away from Steroids, and try IGF-1, Ipamoralin or Ghrp-6. I did some run tests and even of low dose test prop run times got worse . However On igf 1 (long ) and G6 runtimes actually improved and I could really feel the difference in my fights after that.
EPO also works great along with peptides or IGF

Sorry to bring up old topic, What would you recommend for IGF-1 Dose? I saw on a manufacturer site the following:

50 days on and 20-40 days off. Take dosages ranging from 60mcg up to 120mcg per day in divided doses. One injection in the moring and again at bed time

It didnt say whether that was for bodybuilders or fighters or anything, so whats your view on that?

Edward3 makes a very good point. Ive ran a number of different combos and have also done alot of research on cyclist/running/triathalon sites and the best stuff for our sport (bjj, mma, boxing etc) is low dose (100-150 mg max/wk) and short ester compounds. IGF-1 and ipamorelin are great for these sports and also for keeping your rbc's up. After strong workouts your rbcs can drop anywhere from 4-10 pts and may take a few days to recover. Var has really bad pumps even at low doses. Tren will kill cardio but if used properly can creat some good lean muscle and make you strong. Again, very light doses since we are in a weight specific sport we do not want to gain weight. Halotestin is good for aggression but hard on the liver still a good compund to work with since there is no water weight or wt gain. Winny is also good. Keep it at 50mg/day or lower. Basically a good rule of thumb is AAS is good for recovery but kills endurance unless run at lower doses. The only thing that will improve cardio is epo and eq and epo is spendy, complicated and dangerous if you have not done your homework.

Hmmm, seems like you already used the compound I would recommend. Anavar is mild on sides and typically weight gain. I'm a boxer and on a few different occasions I ran cycles while training Once I decided I wasn't going pro. But I still had to keep the weight I check for training and keeping up in the gym. I used test e as a base and tren a. I was never more intense in my life. I felt freakishly strong. Power punches were thrown at a higher velocity. It was awesome. I gained about 10lbs on this. Kept my diet clean and calories down (I was trying to avoid weight gain). I had one big BIG problem, my stamina crashed. I've since learned that tren is horrible for a fighters stamina and for a BBers cardio workout. I ended up stopping the cycle prematurely. Are you a pro fighter?
