Im sure most of you know this but it might be helpful to a few. Ive been lifting heavy for about 2 months. Usually i'll go a month then 2 weeks of lighter weight, much higher reps. I hit a wall, 2 months is too long to just lift heavy, i couldnt get any stronger. Not to mention my shoulders were telling me --- NOOOO---. I love Deca and all but bad shoulders are bad shoulders. So i once again started lifting light,, i hate it. It sucks to know you can throw around those 125lb dumbells and go for the 80's instead,, shameful, or so i thought. I was doing 2/3 weight but reps of 16-20 on every excercise. The pumps i got from these workouts were better than when i took tren and i thought my heart was gonna explode ( I dont do well on tren). Talk about vascular, holy shit. Im not a runner by any means, but you wouldve thought i ran 5 miles a day.
So now im 1 week back into lifting heavy and eating 5,000 cals a day and ill be damned if every excercise hasnt gotten easier, the 125's feel like 80's now and 500 squats feel like 250. My bar curls have gone up from ( previous to the 2 week light cycle) 135 to 160. In a very short time. Its crazy but light weight in your heavy workout will make you markedly stronger. I promise give it a try, set your 225lb ego aside and throw around 165lb for 16-20 reps and tell me you dont feel it......... Peace
