MMA Athletes?
ad
I wasn't able to find a thread so I thought I'd post one up. Anyone doing mixed martial arts? If so can you share any tips, experience, or just some common knowledge when training? What you were/are taking, nutrition, and workout. I'm started getting into mma not long ago and always want to educate myself.

insane cardio will get you through. sprints, hill sprints, burpees, skipping!!!, heavy weighted pull ups, power cleans or high pulls and flexibilty is important. if you want to gain some endurance and confidence dont be afraid to roll or spar with the tougher more experienced guys really put you through your paces, aslong as they are sound and understand your new.
My goals as of now are to cut up lose some weight. I'm not fat and out of shape, just before this i played football and was LB so I got a bulkier build. I just want to get lean, help out cardio, and add some flexibility.
So far the past 2 weeks I've proven, off cycle, the fact that diet and exercise are main factors since I'm keeping just about all my strength while losing weight.
I'm gonna start a cycle soon and I was thinking of throwing in some Clen. What do you guys think? I'm thinking of the benefits like added cardio and keeping things lean. Just to clarify I'm not thinking of taking this alone.
I do MMA, BJJ, Wrestling, and Muay Thai. I lift at home too when Im not doing the other stuff. When Im training for a fight Ill do 2 WO's a day. Weights and cardio. I just posted my cycle up over in the cycles forums if you want to get a quick idea of what Im running. I also posted a good article up from T Nation in the cycles forums as well for MMA guys. It has alot of good info and gives you a good run down on what some of the professionals are using for gear. It is my first cycle and Im loving it. I feel stronger and heal so fast. My main issue right now is I have never cut weight while on gear so Im not sure how it will effect my body. We will see I guess. Good luck bro. There is alot of good info on this site. Welcome!
I TRAIN IN MMA AS WELL AND WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS BECAUSE AS FAR AS I CAN IMAGINE MMA IS ONE OF THE MOST BENIFITCIAL TRAINING YOU CAN BE DOING. that and diet and anything else is gonna be a plus. a am actually about to start my first cycle of test and gh and see what happens. but there are a lot of guys on here who will help you.
I am weird but I am currently taking test e 500/wk and bolde 400/wk. I fight at 205 and I currently weigh 245 lol... I am torn between wanting to look huge and be fit enough to kick peoples asses. I wrestled until the age of 22 from the age of 8 so I know how to cut weight. It's just tough when bolde makes you wanna eat the fridge.
