I'm coming for this title boys.

35 weeks of dieting

276lbs to 189lbs
6'1, 30 years old, 2020-2025 April no gym.

After 35 weeks of dieting, I finished my cut 29 days ago. From fat mess to pretty peeled it was a good journey. I have competed before and dieted hard in the past, the diet was a cakewalk and I think it could be due to utilising Retatrutide and Cardarine.

I started in October at 276lbs on my cruise dose of 125mg Test Enan per week, got bloods pulled mid January then introduced Retatrutide at .5mg per week. I ran that dose of reta for around 16 weeks before upping the dose and I'm going to end my cut on 1.5mg per week, not having gone above that dose.

In March, I switched up to a mini blast and introduced 20 mins of cardio am/pm on the walking pad at a brisk speed. 2iu GH daily, 300mg Test Prop and 50mg Anavar daily (both from Steroidify), the following month I added in Proviron at 50mg daily. I used the Anavar for around 7/8 weeks before it trashed my lipids and I had to cease use.

In May I began Masteron Prop at 300mg weekly on top of the 300mg Test Prop dose before switching out to Masteron Enan when it arrived and I ran Clenbuterol (from Steroidify) for the last 4 weeks, first two weeks at 40mcg daily and past two weeks at 60mcg daily. All of the compounds listed were completely new to me other than Test Enan. I had only ever used Deus Medical products but since coming to this forum I have been introduced to some great sources, most notably Steroidify who carry the brand.

I still doing 20 mins cardio fasted, I track my blood pressure and rhr weekly. I track every gym session in my log book, training PPL for the last year. I obviously track all of my food. I've been rebounding now, I'm back up to around 220lbs and holding some fluff but I feel good.

First picture was 13months ago. Second picture was last week. Didn’t take this serious until about 5-6months ago. After being injured offshore, medivac to land, they got my vitals and all was life changing experience for me. Definitely wanted to be healthy to be here for my wife and kids. Wife has helped me along the journey with nutrition and motivation. Still a long way to go.

Much appreciated braddah! Now it’s just to lift some heavy weights, look decent and stay healthy. Never would’ve thought that the hardest part is eating, or trying to eat haha.

The first picture is where the comeback started. Second pic is 8 months later.

I wasn’t starting as someone who had never trained before. In some ways, that made it harder. I remembered what it felt like to be bigger and stronger. I remembered what I used to see when I looked in the mirror. Now I had to accept where I was and start rebuilding anyway.

So I went back to work.

At first, the goal was simply to be consistent again. Then the strength started returning. The muscle started coming back. My shoulders, chest, back and arms began filling out again. Every few weeks I could see another piece of the old physique returning — except this time I wanted to build it better.

I stopped worrying about ego and focused on progressive overload, quality training, recovery and showing up consistently.

Now I look at these two pictures and almost can’t believe they’re part of the same story.

But what I’m most proud of isn’t just the difference in my physique.

It’s proving to myself that five years away didn’t mean it was over.

You can lose momentum. You can get smaller. You can fall completely out of the routine that once defined you.

And you can still come back.

I originally started this journey wanting to get back to the person I used to be.

Now I don’t want the old version back anymore.

I want to see how far I can take this version.

The comeback isn’t finished.

Hell of a comeback, bro. Five years away and you’re already looking this good — serious work and consistency.
