Here is a topic that is brought up most of the time my PMs. First off, let me see a show of hands who think eating clean while on bulking agents is important. For those who agree, show me a 1 the thread. Now, let me see the hands that agree that eating rich foods is a must while on bulking agents, show me yes by the number 2. Once I get enough responses then we will move on deeper into this misunderstood subject.

The reason you hear of guys doing hamburgers and such, during contest prep is because they maybe ready weeks before the show, and are trying to stay full. Also don't forget all the cardio and fat burners that are being taking at high doses.

ok, let me get my 2 cents on this.

First off, you have to quit using the term bulking agents and bulk. Steroids all have certain characteristics, but not one off them is going to make you gain more muscle if you eat pizza with it or not. The calories and food you eat, have to be something your body can use to for good. Eating foods like pizza will cause you to gain bodyfat no matter what steroid your taking. People who usually go after foods like this have poor eating habits for bodybuilding and use them as an excuse to say they eat a lot of calories cause Im "bulking". When your not in contest prep you just eat more of the good stuff and can go with some healthy bread and pasta choices. Not the regular shit. Sure you can have a cheat meal here and there to keep you in check, I only do two a week. Please do not go by what someone else says they are doing even if they look great, You are not them! Point is, you can gain weight or lose weight while taking any steroid, its the diet that will determine that.

I will use myself for an example, During contest prep I do 500 or more carbs til about 6 weeks out and still use long ester test, anadrol, dbol. At 6 weeks out, I am always real close to being stage ready.

good shit bro. we need to see more of these posts in here. I've been watching this thread like a hawk. I pack on fat pretty easy and it showed when I was eating ice cream n egg shakes a few times a day. nutrition is by far my weak point and I have a lot to learn about it. I appreciate you pros stepping up and sharing. let's keep this good stuff coming. this thread had been too quiet.

What do you think about dairy products? Particularly milk like I drank like a gallon of milk a day on my last bulk I blew the fuck up but I did gain a little fat. Just a.way for me to get in the extra calories I work a really physical job so I gotta get a ton in to gain. I been doin shakes pb and jelly and also I found a great meal for packin on size box of four cheese ricearoni and. Pound of beef mixed in tastes awesome and its like 100 grsn protein 100 gram carb but its got a lot of fat I currently am staying at the same weight but seem to be getting leaner and more muscular.
So you got any favorite meals to pack a ton of calories in ? Btw I'm only on 200 mg test a 4iu gh now bout to start tren e var

Hey mate. I think that uoh are wasting a lot of that protein. You would not be able to extract all 100g of protien from the one meal. At most you are probably getting 30-40g of that. The rest would be all waste mate. Eating more frequently is a far better way to get your needs. If you broke that One meal up into 3 portions you wojld get way more from it. The best bet is to eat animal flesh every 2-3 hours mate.

okay cool see i used to be in the school of thought you gotta eat every 3 hours with 50 grams of protein you know then i been seeing more people saying it doesnt matter when you eat as long as you hit macros for the day. whether its 6 meals 3 meals whatever. but that makes sense that your body will only break down a certain amount.

drinking milk like that is a horrible idea, get away from that, Im not a big fan of dairy. As for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches goes, sure if your in elementary school. You need to eat real food that will benefit your body and lots of it. Start pre cooking your food, and pack it to carry with you.

Haha a man after my own heart. I have been saying it for ages. Don't bulk up, size up. You can't flex fat so why put on more than is needed to stay healthy in the of season. I find it's mainly people that like to make the excuse to eat like a pig in the of session. Talk about making life harder than is needed when it comes time to strip down.

But there will be some down time soon after the last comp. I will get to reflect and analyze what worked and what didn't. Soon I will cruise and the GH and slin will commence. So things will look a whole lot different by the end of this year.

We'll its been quiet in here. Any favorites to get the calories up when bulking? I've been doing 2 or 3 ice cream(choc chip cookie dough) shakes a day with 2 whole eggs and a tbs natty pb.

Taking over this group came during the time of my prep. The closer I get the tighter the tunnel vision gets. I'm in no way ignoring anyone but keeping a little distance. Stress levels can play a role on the cortisone and staying ZEN is a must. I am 6 days out. But I promise we will move on into this subject. Please stay tuned.

I'm listening to the legends of the Arnold Classic and Vince Taylor admitted that he would eat at Burger King everyday during his prep. He said he ate ketchup, beef, and coca cola. If you know anything about Vince you know that he had an amazing physic.

I am living proof that what Phil is saying is the truth! I am eating Alfredo burgers fries ice cream subway whatever the hell I can get my hands on lol. And the crazy part is I have put on almost 15 lbs since I started my cycle 5 weeks ago and have lost bf! I will post pics up Friday to show you guys that Phil REALLY knows what he is talking about. My physique is totally changing. By December of this year I will be close to monster status and I will owe most of that to the Jedi master Phil's training.

X2! If Phil hadnt critiqued my diet and tweaked it I would not be able to reach my goals in time. In fact I wouldn't even have been close...since he did I have been making steady gains...I may be a bit behind due to someones shitty clean eating macros that were suggested to me but now it's definitely feasible bc if his changes

I try to eat clean all day for the most part. after my workout it gets nasty and I just grab a shovel . I workout at night.

Sorry bro but I believe eating clean is reserved for pre contest. Eating clean is like chicken breast with rice or sweet potato. Eating dirty is like lasagna or a pizza.

oh forgot to mention. I got this idea from a bulking diet that I was given to by a guy I trusted and thought was a friend. the guy(ifbb pro)that used to own this group.... anyways looking forward to getting your input on the subject. I feel like I've been running the wrong way :( thanks in advance

Im just here to learn bro. Your the walking proof. This is the part i stuggle most with. I eat n eat and dont gain much but i cant get enough calories from clean food in a day. I;ve been recomping and weight really hasnt changed but clearly a nice difference. I want to pack on the muscle tho.

I NEED to eat either an extreme amount of clean foods, or just dirty bulk If I want to stay above 210lbs.

I usually can eat anything and burn off the fat later since I have an extremely fast metabolism dropping fat isn't a problem for me. Plus I'm naturally lean so I'm not super strict on a bulk

It is a mean trick of nature! To get big you have to eat more, when you get big you still have to eat more to stay big!!

there are many deciding factors to this. the persons metabolism, there bf, gear there using, etc. one person may be able to eat calorie dense foods all day and still have abs showing while another person eats 1 bad meal and body starts looking like shit. the ultimate goal is to gain weight while not adding to much body fat. when dieting down it is easier and less taxing on the body when bf% is not to high.

On a calorie for calorie basis eating clean is always the best option!! But if one finds it hard to eat max cals without cheating and getting into nannas deep friend chicken than he should eat dirty bulk foods..

Priority 1 for bulkin is CALORIES
Priority 2 clean eating.

Levelup I do want to sound a bit snappy but come on use your head. What do you think of when I say rich foods? Let me break it down; pizzas, hamburgers, chinese food and list goes on and on. Don't tell me you're one of those health nuts who eat tofu and shit like that. Foods like that will keep you under 200 lbs I promise you that.
