I only run a full body workout on a Saturday morning before going to the beach, LOL
If you've been training a year...I'd switch the full body to 1-2 body parts per session M-F. It'll be better for hypertrophy. More muscle= less fat in the long run
I second this.
gearreindeer666I read that too. I also read full body is better. Then I read muscle gain a week is capped.
Full body is better if your 65 and just getting into it.
gearreindeer666I want gains lol I’ll switch it up
Think about this... So Muscle size increases by putting more and more stress on them ..you want to actually tear down your muscles as much as possible each time in order for them to respond by growing larger...the more you tear them down the better...of course recovery is a huge role but we're just talking about the actual workout right now. What do you think is going to happen to your ...let's say chest...the next time you go in there and focus entirely on that for an hour ? ... You're going to tear it down far more than if you spent some of the time on a little of each body part... therefore it's going to respond by growing more...and then next time tear it down a little more...each body part... destroy each muscle group separately for maximum hypertrophy
gearreindeer666Question, does that mean doing 2 a days is like even better for growth compared to once a day if you have the time?
gearreindeer666That makes sense, I’ll do that lol
I know you do, that’s why I had to put things into perspective so you’d consider our advice lol. Don’t listen to these guys on YouTube, all of this is trial and error what works according to your training style. Tons of info on here and Knowledgeable folk.
gearreindeer666Thank you very much
Full body is honestly a beginners routine
gearreindeer666I’ll switch it up
Why full body? Have you very little training experience?
gearreindeer666I was watching Jeff Nippard’s videos and decided to give it a try. Some but not much, maybe 1 year of training
