How to not gain anymore muscle

ad

Hi guys, how do you train to not gain any muscle. Is it like 2-3 days a week and beyond that can be growth? Thanks

Why would someone not gain anymore muscle ? Smile

I’m only curious here, but have your stats changed since you put them up on your info page? Is 260 lb at 5’ 6” accurate?

Question sounds crazy, but I think he wants to concentrate on losing fat, instead of gaining muscle. Too gain muscle, you need to be in a caloric surplus and too lose fat you need to be in a caloric deficit. Impossible to do both at the same time.

Well, you can start with some jumping jacks and Hoola Hoop sessions, LOL, , or do you mean you are looking for a strict diet? Your diet is everything if you are simply trying to lose weight/fat. A lot of cardio exercises and light weight, lots of reps will also help. Most importantly, get rid of all the snacks and soda in your home. If they are there, you will fuck up and eat them eventually once you start to see progress .

Is this a joke or what?

"How do you train to not gain any muscle" you ask?.......simple...don't train period OR do yoga and join Zumba classes at your favorite planet fitness. Good luck with your new years resolution

Here, just look into Makwa’s write ups

I think this is what you’re inquiring about based on your posted stats.

Just search his name, he has multiple write ups on a variety of different topics which are helpful.

I thought he was trying to avoid the bulky bodybuilder type of physique, but after checking his stats I’m genuinely confused as to what his goal may be. For instance, my lady wants to avoid being heavily muscular, and maintain her “femininity”, but at 5’ 6” & 280 lbs, I don’t think avoiding bulk is his end game. Curiosity piqued.

Eat like your not training. Just your 3 to four meals a day.

I’m not sure if this is a serious question or not, but in my experience, not eating enough and overtraining kept me from putting on additional muscle. If you burn more calories than you take in, there’s no raw materials to make muscle from. I would guess that this is also very individual, as some muscle up just looking at weights and others need to consume 5000 calories a day just to add a few pounds.

Why don’t you reformulate your question because I think you mean how to maintain muscle muscle mass as opposed to gaining muscle mass.

Volume training, lower the rest times in between sets. Train at a high intensity. Also, look into interval sprinting, that has done wonders for me.

Go to a gym, sit on all the equipment for hours taking useless selfies,, most importantly,, DONT EAT!!

Lol... He was joking us.. He got me.... lmao..

Good catch

Best way to not gain muscle is not work out or train at all. 4th grade science right there. Ill give you this one free.

Pumped_'s picture

Yeah the question i realize meant "how to maintain and not lose muscle without body building" and answer would be lower calories lower weight on bar, maybe double the reps while staying on a mild dose of test only.
Edit: but keep a regular schedule of workout 4-5 days a week

simple and easy

If you gained it training then you definitely will lose half of it (if on hormones) and all of it (it no hormones).
