Strength and Conditioning for MMA

Wanted to start a thread about this.
Any thoughts on weight training for MMA and BJJ?
I lift and train for muscular endurance using explosive and dynamic movements specifically for this sport. A lot of push, pull, squat. Exercises using major muscle groups as well as stabalizing muscles.

I'm also a MMA and BJJ practitioner,I'm following a very effective strength program , here it is:
WORKOUT 1
A1. Barbell Floor Press 3x3+
A2. Weighted Pull Up 3x3+
Take 2mn breaks between each set of A1 and A2.
Do a set of A1, rest for 2mn and then do a set of A2.
On the last set do as many reps as you can.
If you get 5 reps, increase the weigth by 5 pounds for the next workout.
If you fail to get 5 reps then stay with the same weight for the next workout.
If you don't get at least 3 reps, you're going too heavy and need to reduce the weight.
You should be able to use the same weight for all three sets.
B1. Barbell Deadlift 3x3+
Same rules as above
C1. Barbell Squats 3x3+
C2. Dragon Flags 3x8
Same rules.
With regards to Dragon Flags, most will not be able to do 8-10 reps with perfect form so don't worry about how to make the exercise harder.
If you are the rare person that can rep out on dragon flags just slow down the negative ti increase the difficulty.
WORKOUT 2
A1. Double Kettlebell Swing 5x8
A2. Alternating Kettlebell Military Press 5x8 each side
A3. Double Kettlebell Bent Over Row 5x8 (1 second hold at the top of each rep)
A4. Suitcase Kettlebell Squat 5x12
A5. Flutter Kicks 5x15 each side
Take very short breaks in between each exercise such as 30-45 seconds.
Use the heaviest kettlebells you can handle for ten solid reps.
If you need to take longer breaks such as 60 seconds that is fine, just work on reducing the time between each exercise.
The goal is to do all five rounds with no breaks between exercises or rounds.
When you can do that then simply add more reps and start over with longer breaks.
ENJOY!!
Awesome. Thank you.
What you're already doing is exactly what you should be doing, that and sparring because nothing prepares you for a fight like fighting.
True that.
