Losing leg mass because of work...
ad
I work in a job field that for 10 hours I am walking my ass off, like 10 miles a day. Currently my legs are losing size because of all the fucking walking I do. I am losing thickness in quads and hams. My question is what kind of rep range and or exercises would someone suggest to keep thickness I have ? I am pretty lean year round, rarely ever do cardio because of my being lean, so this position I am currently in is killing my legs in a bad way, which doesn't bode well for competition.

I would lift as heavy as possible on leg days with reps in the 4-8 range. You will have to continue to find opportunities to eat during that day of yours and drink plenty of water. I guess some pocket snacks could be of benefit to you something packing a higher carb to protein ratio. All in all lift heavier and make sure you eat those nutrients...
Yes eating is crucial because of calories being lost. It's really not allowed having snacks on you because they could say you got it off the shelves. But I put my stuff in clear baggies, nuts, raisins. there are water stations every where so I stay hydrated. I think a low rep range, going is heavy is probably my best bet.
Thanks fellas, Yes I do need to increase my calories and up my protein n carbs, gonna double up on protein at 2 hour break intervals, and taking in at least 10 red meat and veggies on lunch followed with carbs. My water is 5 liters per work shift right now. Sounds like upping my squat and leg presses should help too. I am taking this advice to heart. Much appreciated!
calories, I have trouble keeping weight on too gotta eat always
RustyhookerWhat's your protein and carbs like? Try adding cals?
I switched to 8 sets of 15 on hips led etc. Gained nicely but my quads are naturally thick. Check video with kai green and his trainer. Long video but very interesting.
Squats and leg presses.
