Knee Replacement?

ad

Hi guys,

I quit using all gear about 7 months ago, without any post therapy (long ugly story as to why) and am doing fine....did not notice remarkable drop in energy, though in past few months have been putting weight back on.

About 3 years ago, started having severe right knee pain (exacerbated by too heavy of weights at 64) and it came and went for a year or so. Now, after injections I still cannot treadmill without injuring it further.

Saw Doc and he rec partial or total knee replacement.

Wondered if any of you have had knee replacements and if you cycled before or after and did it help or not?

Am now 65 and nice not to be so "upset" and "jealous" all the time...........Test did change my personality for sure to the anger side (duh...lol). Read one guy on here say, "Test doesn't make me more aggressive! I just have less tolerance for BULLSHIT". LOLOL....Exactly! However my wife and kids are so grateful Im not on it anylonger.............but wondering about this surgery...

Should I cycle again or not? My total goal with this surgery is to be able to treadmill again (works great for me walking not running)...I lost about 120 lbs doing it alone then added in weights. TEst def made lifting more appealing...ha

Anyone have a knee replacement and still working out?

Thanks,
Randy

See If you want to cycle it again is not a big problem but you should take advice from a doctor. Since you had knee replacement you should not every thing on your own decisions.

Sounds like you are avoiding the surgery and doing pretty good. I do not know much about cycles after knee replacements, but I do work In a hospital same day post op where we do knee and hip replacements all day. It has come a long way in 5 years and if you do have to get it done you may be better off. I watch people come in to the hospital in pain barely able to walk and 4 hours later they actually walk out on their own in no pain. Most people usually wish they did it years ago and surprisingly lots of guys in their 40's get their hips done so I don't think it is a old man thing. If you still have your hips and knees at 64 you took pretty good care of yourself. I am not sure if that info helps you but if it does great.

How's it impacting your weight training? Treadmills have been proven multiple times over the very destructive to the knees. As someone who works in the medical profession I would strongly advise you to seek all options possible to avoid surgery. Maybe see another doctor or see you at physical therapy can do. Are you able to walk around OK without pain and lift without pain? Doctors can't prescribe HGH therapy or stem cells really in the United States, but if your docs cool I would recommend having a chat with him about your available options. My forearms were pretty much destroyed and shredded and we had come to cunlusion that no more shots would work and surgery was going to be my next and only option. I had an off the record chat with my doctor about my options available and plan to avoid surgery. He thought it was a good idea and told me to go for it and I went through physical therapy. I've ended up with about 98% Functionality now and I'm still getting better every day.
If you don't mind going into detail what's your specific injury?

Hey man. Update. Started test at 500 again with AI IN June. Will be on for life. Go between 600 and 200 a week. Labs ok....crit creeping up and going to give another unit of rbcs. MTs test (400) gave me fits with estriadol but prob just meant it was good. Ran his Proviron and was sorely dissapointed. But never saw anyone else complain so prob ok.

My knee prob has dissapeared and im treadmilling again 3xweek and lifting 3xweek. Only if i wear cowboy boots for more than a day does it start hurting. No surgery. Thank God. Or id be an old man in a chair eating vicodin or prob tyl 3 now. Lol

I dont know. Maybe my age at 66, but Ive only used his gear since starting back after a yr and just have never felt GREAT like previous cycles.

Ty bro. After going back and forth i am going to avoid surgery for now. Yes can lift without pain and i am afraid of surgery at 65 in case something goes wrong or i have to deal with post surgery for 2 years til 67 or 68. I will go back to just lifting. I can treadmill at a 3% inckine at 3-3.5 mph for 20 min but am thinking i will lift instead offurther damaging my knee. Ty very much.

I am 65 and have just worn out my knees. I had severe pain off an on in my late 30's, but it passed. I have seen two docs and both have suggested the shots and Ive gotten. "They are ok, but not real help. Have pain most all days, but worse with humid weather.

Sounds like you've been pretty thorough in your research. I've never had a replacement of anything so I can't be of much help in that regard. I can say hgh did wonders for my tendon healing paired with another compound. If you get the surgery I would be open with your doctor about the options you have available to you and see what he thinks. Hopefully someone will chime here with some actual experience on this issue.

I can get ugl hgh. What other compound bro?
