cable rope crunch...
ad
I have read where many recommend doing cable rop crunches, either kneeing or even standing. I can never feel the exercise working my abs, telling me that I must be using arms or back, even though matter how much or how little weight I use. Can anyone give me tips on this exercise?

56tooBest way to do it right is to round your back when doing it. you'll feel the difference immediately
Really focus on not using your arms you could be pulling some of the weight with them and can take away from the abs.
If you hit cables correctly....the serratus...intercostals will tie in to the abs and give you super freaky awesome muscle. Do it!
when i tried them, i used this link as a guide

amd consulted some guys in teh gym. Seems this is the right way
The way I do it is my back to the cable machine, on my knees, my ass on my heels, and the rope attached to cable in each hand with hands resting on my shoulders. My feet are usually touching the base of the cable machine. This has been the only way that I get a burn in my abs.
