Best part about being sick on Wednesday...

ad

Today the best part of being sick on Wednesday was finishing the week on chest and delts.

Im about 6' tall and at my peak around 33 i was about 195lbs and 8-10% BF. I completed several triathlons at half iron man length and a couple marathons. In the end of 2024, 11 years later I weighed in at 262.4 lbs at the Doctor and guessing I would have 35%+ BF. That is the visit when he recommended TRT.

Now dont get me wrong, I am not near any of you in physique and probably never have been or will be. Certainly not picture worthy, but I felt swole looking in the mirror today for the first time in a long time.

I remember this feeling when I was in my 20s and 30s but it'd been about 8 years of a sedentary life and several years of hating mirrors.

Anyways I've been back in the gym 5 days per week since mid December and haven't really felt great. This week I was particularly down because I missed Wednesday but today, idk what happened but things just felt better. The weight was lighter, the reps were cleaner and I didn't see a fat shit when I looked in the mirror.

I hope everyone here has as good a start to their Friday as I did to mine!

Nice job man, keep up the hard work. The hardest part is getting started again again and it sounds like you’re getting after it.
I’m nowhere near some of the crazy physiques you see on here either but I still post pics. I say go for it, you’ll be surprised at how people react. I think everyone likes to see progress and hard work, at least on this site.
