+ 1 MEAT - Does adding "meat" to each meal improve gains???
ad
Hello friends, so say if I'm getting in 6 meals a day. 3 are meat, 2 are dairy(no protein shakes) and one is a lot of eggs VS. all six being meat (any type). Which one is better? In respect to gaining the most muscle.

Well I'd say lots of calorie dense foods such as meat help me to go from 145lbs at 5'10" to 200 now. Didn't rely much on eggs & shakes other than real food. But we all different. My problem is the stupid fast metabolism that I have( runs in the family) so I should be skinny bones like everyone else in the family
You don't consider eggs real food? You can make some hearty ass meals with eggs as the foundation.
Real food referring to protein shakes
TheBrownBeastCutting season is among us.............. soon these ex's will be lining up! Can't wait for that "priceless" feeling :))
MEAT--that's what she said
TheBrownBeastlmao!
Hahahaha
If anything it's the opposite
Food ; % net protein utilization
Eggs ; 94%
Cow's milk ; 82%
Most meat and fowl ; 68%
Eggs and cow's milk are literally two of the best protein sources on the planet for humans. Whey has an even higher net protein utilization than eggs!
What Brooklyn said ^^ good stuff
TheBrownBeastAwesome sauce the recipe for success, thank you!!!
Now how can I control the farts? lol
RustyhookerShakes are garbage as meals....
I don't touch that stuff I'm so glad the place in live all my friends and family have cows and chickens and butcher them all themselves grass feed everything free eggs all day long also I still buy store milk though
TheBrownBeastNow thats good eating!!!
Yeah it is bro those whey protien give me massive stomach aches but if I'm in a pinch and that's all I got then I'll have one
Most likely the lecithin doesn't agree with your stomach. Have you tried whey with no lecithin?
No I haven't I'll look into that
TheBrownBeastUnfortunately it took me a long long time to realize that :( But know I'm in a better place, cause I love eating :))
I don't think they're intended to be used as meals.
TheBrownBeastI do them post workout, but don't really count them in my meal routine.
