Help me! Woman advise needed please.

ad

So my girlfriend is trying to lose some unwanted body fat. I have been there through this whole process from the beginning and have tried several diets with success and she has lost 40-50 pounds so far. She is 32 y/o 5` 6" and is weighing in at about 196 right now with a high body fat percentage. The problem I am having is every diet I try and put her on she just can't eat enough to keep up. When we are talking about manipulating the carbs and trying to get in enough protein at six meals a day is over the top. I can't even get her to eat 1 gram of protein for her body weight. Even that is too much over 6 meals. I have brought up a carb cycling diet and a few others I found on here but one we actually figure up her macro nutrients needed and divide the the food up into five or six meals she looks at it and says there is no way. Need done advise on a diet plan that would help her cut weight but isn't demanding on how much you eat. Any suggestions?

For instance this is one of the pages we were trying to follow

First I will start with saying that what works for you isn't going to work for her.. I wouldn't focus so much on the protein intake.. Unless she's weight training? Which you didn't say if she was.. my suggestion would be cutting down the calorie intake, measure food out and keep the meals about two to three hours apart. Start with the smaller amounts and once she's training and her body adapts to eating every few hours then start adding in the protein. If she's not working out (I mean killing it) she's not going to want to eat that often because the body isn't burning it off.... weights, weights and cardio need to be her life. Diet alone will not get the results you are looking for.

What helped me and the wife was the ketogenic diet.

I would say an intermittent fasting diet but you need to be dedicated for that. Have her download the myfitnesspal app on her phone and track her diet on that. It gives you a break down on what your eating with the ability to look up any food nutrition instantly. Some thing i did to help hunger a bit was drink water 45 min before I eat and not when I'm eating. Its fills u up before eating and keeps your stomach from stretching while you eat. The truth is thou the calories need to be under 2000 if you want to see any progress what so ever. Not sure if I helped but I hope I did.

What you need to do is convince her that no and I can't are two sentences that do not exist, period.

X 2 she has got to want it brother. if she wants it bad enough nothing will be to much to handle. i go through this with my wife. you cant force her, when she is ready she will do whatever it takes. my wife has a slight belly from having 3 kids and i hint at her to try to motivate her but she works 2 jobs and its hard for her to find the time.

My wife is a vegetarian, but I convinced her to take protein supplements. She takes a scoop of 30G vanilla protein every morning in her coffee (sounds gross but it's pretty good). It helped her get over taking powdered protein and her energy is up.
