Truvia is a natural no calorie sweetener, I use it and like it, its made from a stevia leaf look into it.

Stay away from fake sugars period. Just drink the tea lose the splenda. I think that real sugar is better for you.

The problem is that I cant find brewed green tea that is not sweetened..both diet Arizona and Diet Lipton have splenda..if you know any unsweetened source let me know!

I do not know any that is already made. My wife came home with some green tea the other day that had fake sugar in it and I made her throw it away. I would just bottle your own.

I guess so. I just liked the sweet taste of it because I mix it with pasteurized liquid egg whites (totally odorless and tasteless)....makes my green tea a high protein drink

I am self employed and 1 week I ended up working for 2 different fighter pilots. The funny thing was both brought up fake sugars. 1 said that if they had consumed fake sugars they could not fly because of something to do with it effecting the brain. The other told a story about how sick his sister had been and it turned out it was the diet drinks she was drinking. Also my wife's weight loss Doctor told her not to use it either. Said it would slow down her weight loss.

Splenda (aspartame)will cause brain damage and a myriad of other problems in the long run, my advice, stay away from it! http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/11/06/aspartame-...
