Supplements that important?

ad

I was wondering if any member here use supplements beyond protein powder does anyone actually use gnc stuff like amino drinks and preworkouts and what not
I use calcium zinc magnesium arginine glutamine a little creatine carnitine some multi bits some fish oil buy I buy that stuff online in bulk...
But are the things at gnc really better than what I'm using? My brother swears by gnc and high health and vit shoppe but idk...he's an idiot usually...hard to trust what he says. Love him to death tho don't get me wrong. Just not a bright penny.
But I basically take my stuff in the morning all at once buy he's saying I should dose supps throughout the day lol seems like a pain.
What the general consensus here??
Thanks

My supps are a total waste. Sure there a re a handful of good ones but a lot of them are
just snake oil with a bunch of marketing hype and false claims.

You like creatine?

Nothing can replace real food. Some things may help like protein powder, or creatine.

Food is THE priority

Supplements like protein and bcaa's should only be used as an additive or a snack and should never replace food. I take 2 protein shakes a day and only use beta alanine as a supplement, 1 protein shake in the morning, 1 before bed and its all long lasting protein like cottage cheese or any other casein. If you knew how they manufacture vitamins you might not take them. For example 95% of vitamin c comes from sheeps wool processed. look it up how vitamins are derived and you will try and get them from the food you eat. fish oil is good...ONLY if you dont have fish in your diet so if you eat it at least 3 times a week there is no need to supplement it.

Hell yeah mack nothing like a cottage cheese and oatmeal shake. I'll like the oats raw can get more into the shake

Bcaa, whey isolate and casein. All i use. I dont pay the ridiculous prices at gnc. Online shopping always. Supplements definitely have a solid place in a training person's life.

Well all amino acids have there place. I go on how i feel. If im cramping alot i take magnessium and potassium everyday. I definitely always will take a multi vitamin. I love how bcaa powders taste and feel they definitely aid in recovery. The other supplements out there.......smoke and mirrors. Shit we can buy test alot cheaper than the "cutting edge" test booster at gnc lol.
