BCAA's/Leucine/Glutamine/HMB effectiveness for Strength/power??

ad

I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon for the last eight weeks and start supplementing with these in addition to the regular protein/creatine plus AAS that I usually take to see if they would make a big difference in poundages.

Having looked over my training journal tonight all lifts have increased a few kg's here and there but nothing dramatic, plus the gains coincided with upping tren/test dosages. Do any of you Powerlifting/strongman guys bother taking these or am I really just wasting money and off better saving it for decent gear? Any replies are really appreciated :-)

Those are anti catabolic and recovery supplements bro. They won't help much with strength or power during workout. Stimulants or creatine is your best route for that.

To continue growing, get plenty of sleep, eat plenty of food and keep your stress levels down, don't overtrain and remember to switch up routine bro Smile but your glutamine will be the best help out of those products.

High dose glutamine for digestive repair works well, I do bcaas intraworkout because I'm a creature of habit and it is kinda a switch mentally for me, when I sip xtend or modern bcaa I go into warrior mode. I'd save creatine for off cycle to help conserve gains as well as offset the water loss of coming off cycle depending on what you're taking. Other things I take on cycle are fish oil, tudca, green tea extract, cissus, joint repair, vit c, multi, and hydrolyzed whey and dextrose post workout. I think your money could be better spent going towards food when your on cycle. Unless you're a baller, which case buy everything gnc has and take it all at once lol. I've never taken hmb. Oh and I take daa/Zma during pct and oct
