Anyone knows Vikings creatine and BCAA protocol?

ad

Hello fellow eroiders!
I am currently recovering from a lumbar hernia with sciatic nerve pinch L5-S1 and I have started to train again two days ago. I got it from fucking crossfit, sport that I have definitely abandoned (I should have followed everything you say here about crossfit). Im trying to be back in shape without any gear at the momment.
I was wondering if any of you had any clue of how this protocol looks like.
I read it some days ago in "Viking Tribute" post by PIN_CUSHION:
" Funny that you mention creatine............ i 100% truly believe and have witnessed it with my own eyes that when creatine and BCAAs are run correctly with a good diet the gains far outweigh those made with the basic 500mg 12wk test cycle............ i actually have a picture of my own son (27) who has just completed the above and looks fkn awesome........ 216lbs @6% BF........... never touched a single steroid in his life yet."
Hopefully some of you know, if not, give me some advice based on your own protocols. Thanks in advance.

I don't know about vikings protocol but here is my protocol which I have to believe would be somewhat similar anyway.

Creatine

3g pre and 3g immediately post workout. On non-workout days I take just 3g, usually just first thing in the morning with a shot of BCAA.

BCAA'a

Shoot for a minimum of 40g/d. I take 10g pre, 10g intra, and 10g post. I also take 5g first thing in the morning and another 5g shot right before bed. I also usually get another 5-10g throughout the day with my water. I have a hard time just drinking plain water so I flavor it with BCAA's. Supplying your body with BCAA's throughout the day and especially around your training will help with positive nitro balance and growth.

I could go into a dissertation on the benefits of and science behind behind BCAA's and creatine, but I'll leave that up to someone else. Hope that helps.

I believe in general he just meant it as taking creatine as like it says on the jug front load the first few days then a tablespoon a day then on out but I don't take it so just get it and take it read the directions

Yeah but directions change from one source to another. Some frontload it some others dont. I was thinking he has his own method like what he does with vitamin C which can work wonders and I have not read it anywhere else but here.

The reason they recommend frontloading is so you use more of it and have to buy more it. Marketing ploy, don't buy into it. Daily dosing is all that is needed.

Do you recommend taking it on cycle? I'm not sure if it would put more pressure on kidneys or liver is it worth it

I take it year round, on or off cycle. Only time I don't take it is the last 8wks during a prep. This kidney stress from creatine is a wives tale. Creatine is not harmful to the kidneys. That comes straight from my nephrologist who is keeping a close eye on my kidney function after I had Rhabdo.

Sweet nice to know thank you

front loading does nothing
recent research shows 5g is most optimal dose to avoid any gastric issues and for performance (although many studies covered higher doses)
monohydrate is the only one you should use due to research done over time
