Would this a good start for me?

ad

Hey Guys, go easy on me please. new to the scene and this is my 1st post !

So here we go....
I have been reading the posts about advice on 1st cycles as I am thinking about doing my 1st.
There is such a wealth of knowledge and experience here it seems pretty stupid not to ask your opinions.

My stats

40 years old
190 height
85kg weight
BMI around 23.5
Body fat around 15 %

Keeping it brief
I have an active job and train 3 times a week, have been for years, so I’m in pretty good shape for my age. I struggle to lift heavy and gain weight and muscle as I am a typical ectomorph with a fast metabolism.
I tend to lift progressively to maximize pump and reduce joint and muscle strain. There is no point in me lifting heavy and low reps it just doesn’t work.

I have a balanced diet with an approx 70 / 30 protein carb split. I tend not to monitor the fat as I never seem to gain any. I keep my sugar and gluten intake low as my digestion can’t handle it.
Pretty much all meals are home cooked with meats, veg, fruit and dairy at 4000 plus calories daily.
I supplement with a casein fructose blend to suit my digestion after training and before bed.
BCAA, Cod liver oil daily, and glutamine when I train are all in the mix.
I can up my calorie intake if I need, I’ll just increase my portion sizes.
I eat every 3 hours and make sure I never go hungry.

My only weak point is sleep – 2 kids, married man, fulltime job = not as much sleep as I should have.

Needless to say that with my body type I’m looking to bulk. not so worried about definition, just want to stop looking like a tall skinny dude.

I had a short run on var just to try it out as a little intro and I loved it, got strength, hardness and some weight gains without a whisper of a side effect and pretty much kept it all after I finished.
Well happy.

So I like the look of TRTblastcruise’s Suggestion for a 1st cycle and based in the info I have given I wanted to know if you guys with the knowledge and experience think it would be a good start for me.

I’m sure you are all familiar with it but as a reminder, it reads like this -

Weeks 1-10: 500mg Testosterone Enanthate per week
(2 injections of 250mg, Sunday Morning Wednesday night)

Weeks 1-4: 30mg of Dbol per day (split in two doses, one pre workout, one 12 hours later)

Weeks 1-12: .5mg of Anastrozole Every other Day (EOD)

Weeks 4-12: 500iu's of HCG per week
(2 injections of 250iu's, same days as test, but not in the same syringe)

PCT starts week 12, two weeks after last test shot
Week 1&2: 40mg Tamoxifen (nolva) per day
Week 3&4: 20mg Tamoxifen (nolva) per day

Look forward to you input

Id try to find something to replace the fructose. Fructose can only be stored as liver glycogen or fat, and doesn't replenish muscle glycogen so it really isn't the best choice post workout. It also doesn't cause the same insulin response that other sugars do and you want that insulin spike post workout. I hear you on the digestive issues tho, Im also very sensitive to gluten. I really do best with just whole food and no supps at all, spend a lot less time on the shitter lol. Lately Ive just been bringing a meal of 2 cups white rice and 6oz (cooked weight) chicken breast with me to the gym and eating it there right after I finish.

drop dbol, add clomid to pct , tall and skinny is how i started..... change routine for bulking , if its weight you want without definition thats easier... pm for how i did it with no juice i put on 20kgs from diet and taining the rite way for what i wanted....ppl r obsessed with pump, pump dont mean grow. you want slow controlled heavy training with minimal cardio, 45 mins 3 times a week in gym..... the rest is food ..... and boy have i got a shake for you...

In addition to what the others said I would add that if you can swing it I would seriously consider HGH before steroids. You're 40 years old, perfect age to have hgh really do some good. But before anything you really should (matter of fact we insist) go get a full blood panel. The male hormone/lipid test should cover most of the bases. Igf1, test, LH, FSH, cholesterol, estro, etc..

http://www.privatemdlabs.com/lp/male_hormone_info.php (edit) I didn't see Europe, I will leave up in case someone else is in the same boat.

Do you know of any good posts that detail using HGH?

Thanks for your advice.

I tried for a long time training as heavy as I could (with good form) but it never really worked well.
I have long limbs and long slim muscles with long attachment points. (Think basket ball player body type)
It was always a struggle for me to throw heavy weights around.

In recent years I have been training with drops sets and progressive sets or, depending on where you come from, also known as pyramid sets (opposite to drop sets).

It reduced the strain and injury's on my joints and increased my muscle strength and size. I train to failure and the burn and impact on my muscles is far more dramatic than it ever was when I tried to do repetitive heavy weights, its a technique that seems to suit my body better and gives better results when I train.

I know that I am going to have to increase my calorie intake, I’m in tune with my body and digestive system, and I force down as much food as I can but there is only so much I can eat before I start to gag. If I’m reaching that stage every time I eat and I am still not hitting as many calories as you guys think I need obviously I will look at adjusting what I am eating. I know from experience my body's food requirement goes up dramatically when I'm on an intense training period and I compensate before during and after

Duly noted about the Dbol

If anyone has any advice on where and how to get secret blood tests in Europe it would be appreciated. I have searched on the net and found a place in the UK that will do it but it is crazy expensive. Plus I don't actually live in the UK so it would have to be by mail.

Where do you guys go when you want a secret blood test and what do you normally expect to pay?

Thanks

What does lift progressively mean?...pick up a heavy dumbbell and strain those joints and muscles so they can grow..you wont get big doing low impact exercises...

I wouldn't recommend dbol for first cycle just because you wanna see how test reacts with your body...also get bloods before during qnd after...and you can start your anastrazole later like week 3 or 4 (or just have it on hand) or when you get nipple sensitivity or bloat.

You are old enough to play with testosterone But make no mistake it ain't gonna do shit if you are not training or eating right...just water weight and temporary strength...
Good luck

I think first you need to get your mindset right.

There is no point in me lifting heavy and low reps it just doesn’t work.

That is completely false. My 4 year old could get results from lifting heavy barbie dolls. Gear isn't the magic potion, sounds like you're not growing cause you're not trying.

I agree lifting heavy is the way to go for most but some don't respond to it. My brother can't live heavy and grow but pyramid sets work for him while I lift heavy 75% of my workouts. Also your body will adapt and change it's muscle fibers depending on your exercise patterns

I agree lifting heavy (with good form as to not hurt yourself) works...muscles dont grow big if you dont use them...
