Start over for jump start or wait?

ad

Hey guys. It's been a while but I'm back and getting things kicked off already. I have been out of commission for about 10 months now due to some virus that was kicking my hearts ass called paricardial something or another. I ran my first cycle Nov. 2012 with the typical test e @ 500 mg split weekly for 12 wks and normal PCT. Went from about 16% bf down to about 12% just before I went out of commission. Well with almost a year of not being able to run or lift and a not so clean diet I'm at about 21% Or 22% bf weighing about 215-220! I know I'm a fat ass lol. Needless to say I have lost a lot of muscle mass and felt like a bitch first day back in the gym. My question is can I hop back into the AAS game to jump start everything to get back on track or should I wait. Been back on diet and lifting for about a 3 weeks now . My concern would be gyno occurring since BF% is much higher. I think I know the answer you all will give me but thought I would ask anyway lol.

P. S. If I was to do it I would do same as first cycle if anyone is wondering

A heart problem of any discription would be my exit from the world of AAS brother....... i would revert to being a natty and step down training to suit, i would train for health and over stress NOTHING....... i put some thought into this before writing and my answer is honest.

I appreciate the answer vitamin. I do understand your concern and as was I when I was told about this. This virus called cox sacki is what caused my problem and it is an airborne virus that anyone can get according to the doc. What it did was put fluid around my heart which called shortness of breath. My doctor said I should live my life as before considering this virus is very rare to get a second time. Do you still think I should consider leaving AAS in my past given the description of everything I just have you? Thanks in advance brother!

Get in shape first and get your muscles used to lifting again or you are just risking injury.

You had a heart infection and you want to run AAS?
Take it slow, clean up your diet do some cardio to strengthen your heart.
You should be back in the gym for awhile. You'll be getting a lot gains back easily because of muscle memory and then train awhile longer until you hit a real big plateau, then consider using again. This way you'll get the full benefit of steroids.
Welcome back to the iron game! Stay healthy and good luck!

Bro first of all welcome back:) so glad u feel better now and are coming back to working out. In my honest opinion I would not recommend you to hop back on AAS. You should start with training and diet. Condition yourself as well as u can and bring your bf to less than 14%. Once you are there and you consistently hit the gym and feel that you are back 100% then and only then consider AAS. Then reason why I say this is cos with a higher bf% the chances of estrogen related sides are much more. (In my opinion). So it's better to bring it down and get urself back naturally in the gym and get strong and then consider AAS. Also my advice to talk with your doctor bro in regards to the virus that hit you and if there are risks involved if u cycle again. Have an open conversation with him to see if u may get any health risk using AAS given ur heart problem u had. Hope this helps. But do ur research and see what others may have to say! All the best with your goals brother.

Thanks for the feedback and the doc said the virus was called cox sacki virus where fluid builds around the heart. He said it would be a rare case if I was to get this again. And as far as he said I can go back to my normal routine with working out and taking supplements. I didn't ask about AAS though of course but he stated to just live my life as before

brother be the turtle... Diet and train not only to bring your weight down but also to reintroduce your muscles, skeletal muscles, joints and tendons to stress...

Thanks man. Will do. Got a nice little home set up now and doing exactly what u said. Getting everything use to it again. I think another 6-9 months I'll be back on track

No don't jump back on with your body fat that high sides are a lot greater. Plus give your body sometime to get to healthy. u said u had a virus that affected your heart well don't use steroids now brother that could really hurt or even kill u. Build yourself back up then go get blood work done in six months see how your body has responded to getting back in shape. Then u prolly need t consult a doctor brother bout your heart condition before u ever ever touch aas
PS thanks for u serving our country sir

Thanks for the reply. And yes the virus put fluid around my heart so it could have been a major health risk. The virus has been non existent since October but wanted to wait for my follow up appointments to see how everything was before I started lifting again. But yes your right, I better build back up what I lost first and get back to good healthy weight, bf, and diet. This is the most out of shape I've ever been so I guess I wanted the shortcut back to where I was.

When it comes to your health this is a marathon not a sprint. Are society today wants the easiest route but take your time build yourself up and when its time for your next cycle u will get such better results than u could ever achieve now. Thumbs up u are goin to be well on your way back to been better than ever. Go research diets on here. Start there diet is crucial brother good luck
