Not touched gear in 6 years, Thoughts/Advice

ad

Hello all,

I am currently 27 5’8 192 @ 23% BF

When I was younger and in the military from 19-21 I did numerous cycles (really dumb I know but we were on deployment so I was just young and doing what everyone else was doing LOL)

Stuff I have done in the past were Test C, Tren A, Var to Test E, Deca, Dbol. Don’t remember the exact dosages as it was so long ago but I am very lucky that everything still works the way it should. Point being I want to start doing some moderate cycles again.

My goal currently is to cut back down to 12-15% BF, just recently got my diet in check and over the course of about 6-8 months have cut from 33% BF to 23% BF all natty.

I was thinking something like
Test E 300mg/week 10 weeks
Anavar 50mg/weeks 1-6 (potentially lower dosages to start open to suggestions)

I do not want to touch tren again probably ever so I am open to options for stuff to stack with this cycle.

Id wait till I was 40s if I could take it all back. I'm 39. First cycle was at 19.

Why’s that if I may ask?

I admittedly got persuaded even younger than you by an authority figure, but honestly I don’t regret it!

Hormones have changed my life for the better in just about every way- of course you have to use in moderation as with anything though.

Todays medical advances you can stay fertile and perfectly healthy even on TRT for life

27 years old is really the perfect age to go ahead and start getting some solid cycles under your belt if that's what you're wanting to do. If I could go back in time and help myself setup a cycle starting back at 27 @ your stats I would probably start around:

Wks 1-8: 500 Test E - 300 Primo - 4iu HGH
Wks 9-16: 700 Test E - 400 Primo - 6iu HGH.
Wks 17-24: 900 Test E - 500 Primo - 8iu HGH.

Had I known what I know now this would have been my go to for my starter Bulk Cycle. It's basically setup so you don't need an AI(Most guys) and there's now worries about Gyno. These compounds are well tolerated by the body, very little sides if any at all from Test/Primo. Those HGH numbers what I really mean is start around 4iu and slowly ramp up the doses as the cycle progresses. Whatever you can tolerate personally. Again not saying do what I would do, but this is what I would do knowing what I have learned over the years.

Get that military ruck sack outta the dust and hit it. It worked then and still works now! Plus looks cool af too. Wait til 15% and then give it a go. You got time til beach season Smile .

At 15%.... test 500 x 12wks. Var at 50mg split 8-14. Do a proper pct too

Avil just nailed it. Blood work every 3 months; start low, build your way up; no rush.
300mg test weekly with proper training and food intake will make you reach your goals.
10-12 Weeks?! You can go a long way from there...Its all depends, anyways... DO NOT SKIP CARDIO TIME.
See how you react, how your system deals with that...
Save the Var for the last extra 4-6 weeks on top of that. Var is a finisher more than a builder.
Bloodwork is king.
Have fun, brother.

Thank you for the advice! I have been doing Muay Thai again 3 days a week most weeks which is insane cardio and if I cannot make it there (I workout early getting to the gym at 5am) but sometimes I am at work too long to make it to Muay Thai.

You can do one or another or both, it’s up to you. Just don’t neglect it cause cardio will for sure determined in your journey in this lifestyle as well it will save you from so much health problems. Btw, yeah man, That’s a great cardiovascular endurance activity, you can do it instead just bike, treadmill or stairs… still have a plus you’re surely ready and sharp to kick some motherfuxks ass.

Have you done any current not on gear blood work? That might be a good place to start and work from there

LA225's picture

I had some bloods done a couple years ago definitely time to go get them done again.

I'd definitely start with blood work before bringing anything in

I think it would be better just keep at it before jumping on anything... At your age and even your past cycles with 6 years off I'd be really surprised that your test isn't in range ...so all I'm saying is your asking the right questions but eating clean lifting your ass off and cardio should drop you down a bit the healthier and better bmi all help to negate the long term side effects from gear so that's the safest way it's not like your goal can't be achieved without gear is what I'm saying.. I'm not anti gear by any means it sounds like your kicking ass already bro great job ... Is your progress stalled ? Do you want to turn it up a notch preserve strength and muscle ...all of the above ...??? I guess my thoughts are finish the cut natural then do a cycle put on some quality muscle and not blow your wad of your cycle when Imo you could take advantage of the rebound out the gear into a state which is more anabolic and in the long run that extra muscle will keep your fat fires burning .....
As for your cycle the test anavar look fine super mild stack either way buddy just make sure you have a pct lined up that's the other thing I always see is guys run a cut with a little gear it's addicting and then after that they roll into blasting trying to put on a bunch of muscle when they could just do one cycle safely have pct and get blood work all the good stuff and achieve similar results without compromising there health ... I say this as I myself have made many many mistakes and I've paid for all of them and you have already dabble in the pool the slope can be slippery one minute it's test the tren aint sound so bad ..lol sorry man insomnia lol can't sleep tonight for the long answer

LA225's picture

I appreciate all the advice here, progress is not stalled, was more looking to get those insane pumps I used to get on top of speed up the process but you are correct in all other aspects. I am just going to keep at it and get some bloods done here soon.

I definitely agree on the slippery slope LOL once I did tren I felt like a monster truck at all times in the gym. Again I was super lucky and had little to no sides on anything I did. Most I ever had was night sweats from the tren and some heat flashes here and there. Everything else I had pretty much 0 symptoms.

All in all I think I will take everyones advice here and just keep at it natty until I start to plateau.
