My labs, after shitty AAS choices, and a new cycle.
If in the wrong forum, pardon me
I am 29 now and have had labs done! I wanted to know where I sat in regards to natural testosterone production and organ function (especially after using Tren Acetate at 20) I'll get to that. On another note, I've spent hours researching the detrimental effects on natural hormone production and shut down - post AAS use - and still learning. I am no pro, but I am damn near completed with my schooling for nursing, so the microbiology, anatomy/physiology, and nutritional aspects have helped me greatly to comprehend this information.
Lab results:
Free Testosterone: 83.2
Total Testosterone: 754
CBC: Within Normal Limits
TFT/thyroid: Ok
Liver and Kidneys: Ok
The only issue my primary care physician had was regarding my vitamin d, and that may be due to this staying indoors during Covid-19. The remedy for the vitamin d being low: 2000ius a day and to follow up. I will admit that I was expecting numbers far worse than these. Of course genetics are everything, along with dosage and time of use.
I have not done so as of yet, but I have been wanting to run a 12 week cycle of Testosterone Enanthate @ 350mg a week. Maybe even a oral for a kick start (to be decided). PCT included. But with all the Eroid veterans speaking on labs BEFORE and AFTER starting a cycle, that was the route I decided to take. This will also help me to monitor my potential sides and have a safer cycle over all. I eat relatively clean, and generally have a consistent gym schedule, but this Covid-19 stuff has gyms closed, so maybe wait it out to start? we'll see.
Please feel free to criticize and ask questions. If you wanna know my retarded history with AAS - I'll post it below.
********** I was a 20 year old, young Marine, and physical fitness was the top priority. I excelled, naturally, in comparison to my brothers. However, I had a friendly rival who was strong as well and we always trained together. We had a mentor who was above us in rank, and above us in strength as well. He always seemed to get big, and fast, too. When my friend and I would pick his brain, it was always good knowledge. However, one day, "the talk" happened. He jokingly mentioned AAS, seen we were cool, but more importantly interested. That's when he asked us our goals and all. Initially, we were taken from surprise, but who could argue? Look at him (it's really because my friend and I were young and ignorant). He then proceeded to ask us our fitness goals and we spoke up. My friend wanted to "bulk" and I wanted to "cut." This is where it gets wild! Our "mentor" then suggests Deca to my friend, and Tren for me. He says this all confidently and starts talking about prices. My friend and I agreed to the terms and the rest was history. For starters, the gear was overpriced, but I didn't know that then. My cycle was Test Enanthate and Tren Acetate, while my friend was on Deca and Test Enanthate. Well, there was magic for sure. My friend gained weight like a bull, and I just got harder and harder - with insane strength gains. I just did not get tired, even at 3x gym sessions a day, including Marine Corps military exercises. I surpassed my friend on Deca and even went beyond my mentor. This was my very 1st cycle, for 8 weeks. Long story short, our mentor forgot to mention anything about PCT. To make matters worse, I went on a deployment straight off of Tren Acetate and Test Enanthate with no PCT. I lost the hardness and had mad mood swings. Strength left, but much of it stayed. even to this day. this was my 1st experience with AAS and at a very young age - 20.
Fast forward to 24 years old and it has been a year since I came back from deployment and honorably discharged. I jumped on with a gym and had friends from my hometown that were big lifters for the most part. I was doing ok, but I found it interesting that all of my gym friends were on gear. From Masteron, to Dbol, you name it. However, they were also ignorant. They did not know of PCT. So much so that some were staying on gear (without cycling) and I took it upon myself to research about it. Eventually I was the one educating my friends about "proper" PCT, due to how I was ignorant with my 1st cycle. after a while, I became interested in another cycle. After all, I wanted to keep up with my friends, and I knew the power of Tren. On the other hand though, I was equipped with better knowledge regarding Tren and how bad that compound is for a young man like me. So, I went with some good ol' Test Propionate and 50mg of Oxandrolone/Anavar as a kick start, for a 2nd cycle. This time though, I had Aromasin, Clomid, and HCG on hand for sides and PCT care. The cycle was not too bad.
Moral of the story though, don't touch AAS until older and do not rely on half-asses friends to inform you on how to do something regarding your health. Research, research, research, and always ask questions**********

NotNatural23Your testosterone levels look good. I assume that is after no AAS for awhile. As far as VIt D just supplement with it or try to get more sun to see if that helps. If not then doctor will prescribe you mega doses of Vit D. I would get your estradiol levels checked to if you are about to go on cycle or get full hormone panel
Apparently from what my wife's OB says her hormone problems are associated with vitamin d deficiency. Her doc put her on a mega dose to catch up and then she takes an every day one over the counter. He says the actions of the hormones are defeated basically due to the shortage of vitamins d. In short the test and estro were right but because the vitamin deficiency they weren't able to do what they are supposed to
AkumaThat's useful information and thank you for sharing. I should get some more sun for sure!
AkumaThat's a good assumption mate. Yeah, long story short, it's been about 5 years since my last AAS cycle. The first paragraphs are all about the labs and expecting a pretty shitty turn out due to foolishness in my early 20's.
The rest is just cycle history for those interested (I like to write) I had a shitty mentor, and didn't do much research then. Did Tren Ace/Test E as a 1st cycle with no PCT. I learned what it was and started helping others out with PCT.
Regarding the hormone panel, they said I was good to go, but looked at me odd when I asked for a Estradiol check. Now it's time to check in in Vitamin D. Oh yeah, and legit for the read, NotNatural23.
To much for me to read
Glad you got it figured out and thank you for this nap I am about to take.
TronCan you tell me what he's asking or what he said? But sum it up into one paragraph...Those are too many words for me to read.
Yeah dont do tren when you are 20
AkumaYou're right, Bill G. That nap should help out to kill the time until the gyms open back up.
I'm old
Naps are awesome
