Insulin cycle-resistance
I have a few 4 week insulin cycles under my belt.. And i have started doing research and becoming curious about insulin resistance.
Will i eventually hit a point in which i will have to up my insulin resistance to continue getting good results?
When will this point hit? 10 cycles? 20?
Its no hidden secret that the pros run insulin and a few of them are diabetic because of this i would presume.. How do they stay insulin sensitive or do they just continually increase dosage to obtain results?
Im asking this question to avoid reaching this point, not saying i wont run more insulin cycles but i want to stay insulin sensative.
My past 3 cycles have consisted of about 15 iu per day split into morning/pwo doses. I ran the insulin subQ 5 on 2 off for 4 weeks.

id add if u ever took your blood levels with a glucometer? taking slin without some basic readings seems ill advised.
Yeah, I keep a good watch on it at all times and actually follow the 10carb/iu rule which most say is overkill but in my opinion better safe than sorry.
The 10g carb per IU is a pretty dumb rule in my opinion. Because insulin doesn't work that way. Some carbs last longer than others. Example you shoot 10iu humulinR which lasts about 4 hours. You take 100g of dextrose, that is not enough to cover the duration of the slin. Instead of eating X amount of carbs per IU, try eating on a regular basis. You should be eating high carb meals complex as well as fast acting sugars, you want a combo. You could take in 200g of carbs from grape juice at the time of injection and still go hypo 1-2 hours later. It's not about how many grams you take, but rather making sure your body has a constant supply of glucose during the duration of slin.
Anongiven your age; and BF% I think slin is the last thing you should be touching. Take it as you want, just honest advice. It doesn't look like you'll be stepping on stage anytime soon, so why run fucking slin?
I actually step on stage my first time this year and took second place, It was a local show nonetheless IFBB sanctioned and a national qualifier(don't want to give away to much info)My bf % from the pictures in February is way down, i'm just starting my bulking phase so I'm basically still in contest ready shape.
My main reason for asking is I just hired a nutritionist that is pretty well known in the community and trains 2 newly founded IFBB pro's that i'm aware of, maybe more.
He has basically laid out my drug regime for this off season but some of the dosages are insane and he wants me to run insulin almost the entire off season.
If any of you fancy watching the Boston Loyd video, the dosages aren't far off.
My concern lies in the fact that I don't exactly plan on being a diabetic for my entire life.. so i was curious as to how much I could actually get away with without becoming "resistant".

Will do. I assume he's a guru of the sorts?
Anonhe know's a lot on slin and can definitely give you some good first hand knowledge.

Anonwell simply put..
diabetes = caused by insulin resistance
insulin resistance = caused by higher levels than normal of slin being introduced by the body (injecting it)

sidenote: the pancreas doesn't work on a negative feedback system like our testies do.. so it will continue to secrete slin every (x) amount of hours when you eat carbs etc no matter if you are shooting an exogenous dose or not.. so by using more on top, you are in fact producing a surplus and run this risk. I haven't found any concrete studies beyond broscience to make me conclude any different
