First Deca cycle - help would be greatly appreciated

ad

Hi, I apologize if this post is in the wrong forum, I am new to this site :P.

Anyways, I am about to start a 3 month cycle of Deca Durabolin and I have many questions to ask because this is my first time using steroids.

First off, I am 125lbs, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and I have around 4% body fat. Basically I am a very skinny guy. What would be a safe amount of mg to do in a week that would give me great results? Is 300mg enough for someone like me, or should I do more?

Secondly, what should I do for dieting to get the best results? I figure I should intake lots of proteins, but is that correct or is there anything else I should need? I also work out 6 times a week for 30 minutes. Is this enough to get good results?

Lastly, do I need to be worried about estrogen production? I've heard from a few people that anti-estrogen drugs are a must to prevent terrible side effects.

Thanks!

you would be better adding some test or the dreaded limp dick will set in m8
the following should give you an idea about cals

HOW MUCH CALORIES

  • If you intend to bulk up, then consume 20 to 22 calories per 1 pound of bodyweight. EX. A 200 pound person would consume 4,000 to 4,400 calories per day to bulk up.

  • If you intend to maintain your current bodyweight, then consume 15 to 18 calories per 1 pound of bodyweight. EX. A 200 pound person would consume 3,000 to 3,600 calories per day to maintain his or her current bodyweight.

  • If you intend to cut up, then consume 10 to 12 calories per 1 pound of bodyweight. EX. A 200 pound person would consume 2,000 to 2,400 calories per day to cut up.

Second, consider the correct nutrient ratio for the desire cycle. Now I understand that there are different opinions of ratios of nutrients but for the purpose of getting those on the right track to understanding diets,,,, let’s not turn this thread into an argument about diet ratios. I’m offering what I use on a daily basis. Read and learn about different ratios and experiment which one works the best for you. My way doesn’t mean it’s right or wrong,,, it just works best for me. You'll learn over time through trial and error what works best for you.

*** Formulas you’ll need to know :
There are 4 calories per 1 gram of carbohydrate.
There are 4 calories per 1 gram of protein.
There are 9 calories per 1 gram of fat.

For bulking, a 45/40/15 ratio of carbs, proteins, and fats would be the average norm. This means that a 200 pound individual looking to consume 4,000 calories per day would consume 45% of those 4,000 cals in carbs, 45% of those 4,000 cals in proteins, and 15% of those 4,000 cals in fats.
45% of carbs = 1,800 cals or 450 grams of carbs ( 1,800 cals divided by 4 cals )
40% of proteins = 1,600 cals or 400 grams of proteins ( 1,600 cals divided by 4 cals )
15% of fats = 600 cals or 67 grams of fats ( 600 cals divided by 9 cals rounded off to the whole number )
use the same ratios for maintaining and cutting bodyweight, which is a 30/50/20 ratio of nutrients. ( carbs/proteins/fats )

For maintaining bodyweight : A 200 pound individual looking to consume 3,000 calories per day would consume 30% of those 3,000 calories in carbs, 50% of those 3,000 calories in proteins, and 20% of those 3,000 calories in fats.
30% of carbs = 900 cals or 225 grams of carbs ( 900 cals divided by 4 cals )
50% of proteins = 1,500 or 375 grams of proteins ( 1,500 divided by 4 cals )
20% of fats = 600 cals or 67 grams of fats ( 600 divided by 9 cals rounded off to the whole number )

For cutting bodyweight : A 200 pound individual looking to consume 2,000 calories per day would consume 30% of those 2,000 calories in carbs, 50% of those 2,000 calories in proteins, and 20% of those 2,000 calories in fats.
30% of carbs = 600 or 150 grams of carbs ( 600 cals divided by 4 cals )
50% of proteins = 1,000 cals or 250 grams of proteins ( 1,000 cals divided by 4 cals )
20% of fats = 400 cals or 44 grams of fats ( 400 cals divided by 9 cals rounded off to the whole number )

Train, eat and sleep to the point you can benfit from a cycle.

My advice is to train to get to the point where your body is strong and big enough so you can benefit from a Testosterone cycle as your first cycle. Whatever you get on, you'll be needing to eat a lot (at least 3,500 calories a day, but optimally 4k calories a day, around 6-8 times a day) so pay attention to what everyone is saying here, train to get to the point where you can benefit from a cycle.

You might want to use craigslist to find a workout buddy, and try some of the workout routines, like Simple Strength.

Think of steroids as a boost to what you're already doing right. If you've never made solid gains without steroids, you really wont benefit from them at all, and any gains you make (if you do) will be lost a month after you're done, plus you put yourself at risk for nasty side effects if you don't research what you're doing.

But no harm done in asking, that's what these forms are for, right?

...and NOT A ONE put it out there that you should DROP THE DECA idea for straight TEST!
I 100% agree with the fellas that you need to train your body TO DIET properly before you turn to AAS... BUT like most you will do what you want regardless of the the overwhelming majority may suggest, so IF yo are dead set on cycling (even though it is clear that it is premature) then go with a 10-12 wk Test(e) or(c) cycle and make sure you have a proper PCT in place

Can someone give me some advice on what I should use to build mass?

Food bro, "I just have a very high metabolism" This is no excuse bro. At your age you dont need any AAS, all you need is some good sups and a good diet. I guaranty you if you get your diet in check you will gain some mass.

No there's no medical reason why I weigh so little, I just have a very high metabolism.

Roid Noid's picture

The reason you weigh so little is becuase you dont eat enough! If you cant put on weight by yourself steroids will do very little for you and what little you do gain will all go away! The first thing you need to do is learn how to eat a shitload of calories!

What do you think deca is gonna do for you?

Kryptic's picture

I'm hoping that it'll allow me to gain muscle and weight faster.

Roid Noid's picture

You got first and second wrong! first is diet, second is AAS!...
Ok before I get into your weight let me ask you this, is there some medical reason why you weigh 125lbs? And how old are you?
I really hope nobody just gives this guy cycle advise!

Trenabolic's picture

Bro i hate to be an ass but pleas tell me this is some sort of joke. I dont even know where to start. My advice to you would be to gain some natty weight first before you even think about any AAS. With those stats you obviosly aint eating or training right. AAS aint no majic short cut, you still have to know what your doing in order to grow.
