It's already been said, but I would wait another 2 years or more lifting naturally if I were you. That being said, I personally would go with the test-only option for your first cycle. You will get great gains from that option and you'll get a really good feel for how your body responds to testosterone.
Option 2 is almost the same cycle I first ran minus the hcg and I gained 30lbs (kept about 21 of it after pct)
Look man it depends on what type of goals you have with your lifting/training to decide if you should cycle. I'm the same age as you and I've been cycling since I was 18. Now I so not recommend that to anyone... I have big goals and I've put other things in the back burner which wasn't the best choice. I mean I have not had many negative sides, only some acne, testicular atrophy while on (always came back), and some depression after coming off long cycle after contest.
If you have good genetics and your dedicated enough with your diet and training, and you have been for years, then maybe it's time to cycle. But that is completely up to you. No matter what anybody says there are negatives ( I mainly see that when people start young they get used to only gaining while on cycle and do not think they can gain while off) and there are positives.
Just do your research and play it safe.
None of the above, you need to wait a few more years before starting a cycle. A clean diet and training is what will work best for you.
X2!
Life's too short man, give me a chance
You are correct life is to short and starting AAS now could impact your life dramatically when you are older.
erm, how exactly?
Although you may PCT, you may never recover and furthermore, you may recover but lose potency. Starting the clock to your inevitable TRT outcome. In my opinion, what should be taken into account when you are deciding to cycle is, "Are you ready to be a TRT patient?" It's not only possible but becomes more probable as you continue to cycle. That's my two cents. I'm not saying that every person who cycles becomes a TRT patient just that you should be mentally prepared for the worst case scenario, which would be having to inject exogenous hormones until you die.
Also, if you're going to cycle. TEST ONLY. No orals, maybe a prop taper but definitely not a kicker.
Beginners cycle
X2+1 Brother. Great advice.
Yeah test only would be safest, btw what age did you start?
I started at 25, today is actually the last day of my PCT. The work I do has fortunately provided me with medical resources at my fingertips. That being said, my cycle was monitored with close attention (and with the help of eroids). You can check my cycle log out, it's identical to the link I gave you above. Good luck bud.
You know I too feared that one never fully recovers after AAS but was quickly debunked in one of my older threads...
http://www.eroids.com/forum/steroids-qa/steroid-cycles/can-on-cycle-hcg-...
It's interesting that you would say that thread debunks it.
Not exactly debunks but it seems the general consensus is that you will recover from aas provided you don't abuse them. I gather abuse here means starting before your hormone levels stabilize, running AAS for extended periods, starting without a solid base (tendon strength), running advanced compounds too soon, or simply not having a clue what you're doing.
Myself, I would say my hormone levels have been stable for quite some time, I've got a pretty solid base, looking to run the safest reasonable cycle, definitely know how to train and diet effectively natty for post cycle and always willing to learn and improve.
All I want is a jump start to get to my max natty LBM which is about 10-15 lbs away, then say goodbye to AAS for good.
Ah, to be young and invincible. I know 20 years down the road is simply impossible for you to comprehend at your age, but it will go by fast youngblood. These people are not telling you to wait because they want to hold you back, or don't think you are mature enough, they are telling you because there is real danger in playing with hormones at your age. Some things can not be undone...
Solid advice brother +1
It's sounds like you've got it figured out. Stick to a test only cycle, for your safety. Good luck bud.
Thanks man, guess its back to option 1
I started at 27 with some really bad advice. I didn't take it slow and at 42 I have low T and with need TRT for the rest of my life. If you don't know about low T I am tired all the time wanting to take naps by noon like an old man. So It's TRT or feeling like I am 65 at 42. The best thing about eroids is making a difference in peoples lives and stopping them from making the same mistakes us older guys have.
