+ 1 First Cycle

ad

Hello
I’m trying to do my first cycle I’m 42 training since I’m 16

Right now I’m on TRT doctor put me testosterone cyp 100mg a week this week will be second shot

In spring I want to try a cycle for 6-8 weeks

Testosterone cyp 250mg a week
Anavar 1st week 20mg 2nd week 30mg 3rd -5th week 40mg. 6 week 20mg

Questions
1. Will I need PCT if yes what kind . Or TRT 100mg a week after will be enough.
2. Will this Cycle work ? I’m not looking to get big just get in better shape and get stronger little, I’m looking to minimize as much as possible side affects and live damage

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thank you

First, read the rules.
Second, get a new doctor.

First, DON"T DO ANYTHING until you have your TRT dialed in and you're only seeing your doc once every 6 months or more.

Second, if you've been living with low T then the TRT dose should start to feel like a cycle after about 4 to 6 weeks. Enjoy it for as long as it lasts. No reason to muck up your TRT with a cycle. It's probably all you need to reach your goals.

Third, you do not need PCT. The anavar is unneeded for your goals/experiance level and will be a waste of money.

Fourth, If you do decide to cycle, do it in 2020. IMO your cycle is not long enough, you might want to consider using short esters to run a (short) cycle so your levels are "TRT normal" by the time you need to get a blood draw ordered by your doctor. Your "cycle" should be your TRT dose + cycle dose. (I.e., 350mg per week)

Fifth, it is worth repeating, if you've been living with low T then the TRT dose should start to feel like a cycle after about 4 to 6 weeks. Enjoy it for as long as it lasts. No reason to muck up your TRT with a cycle. It's probably all you need to reach your goals.

A 6-8 week cycle of test cyp looks solid?

addicted.to.pain's picture

was this not in cycle logs?

either way ill say it again, you do not need aas to get into shape or gain strength .Both goals can be achieved through diet and exercise modification.

And your TRT dose is sufficient. \

Anavar is hepatoxic, its low on sides but none the less liver toxic. Bro science would have you believe other wise, bro science is wrong.

100mg/wk should put your test levels around 700ng/dl. That is going to be about 3.5x higher than what your test levels were before starting trt. How is that not going to be enough to build some muscle and boost strength??

There's a point after your hpta shuts down, where the dose may need to be titrated to keep estradiol in range.

When my E2 was 10, my knees still felt sore, that was around 18 months and three blood draws...lipids improved, but were still out of range. Realistically, a
representative sample of 100 men on TRT would reveal an array of variances proving everyone utilizes testosterone differently based off BW intervals. Moreover, I really like using the different esters to help manage the utilization of testosterone. I'd like a small unit to be developed that checks estradiol, like the blood sugar is monitored.

Funny you mention that. My wife is diabetic. I was watching her check her sugars. And had the same thought. Why dont they have one for estro. I google searched it. There are mouth swabs that do estro, prolactin, and test. Another has a pad you put a drop of blood on it and send it off. All done at home . But still have to send them somewhere . Takes a week to get results. The only convenience is you dont have to go to a clinic to draw blood. They are way more cost than privatemd for a hormone panel. Which gives a lot of info with the panel. Silly there isnt one like you speek of.

I would have never thought of mouth swabs, but that would be quicker as long as they are efficient.

Sounds like you need to do a lot of reading. No one here can do the work for you. You need to learn more and determine clearly what you are trying to do!

Just wait man. Trt is probably gonna change the game for you.
You’ll see.
(Look into biweekly injects, once a week is a little long for cypionate. Then again, everybody is different.)

Totally, I'm sure he'll see way better results than he's been getting before just on his TRT dose..

Just stick with your TRT if that is what you are looking for. That is all you need.

It’s clear you could do with more reading. If you’ve just started trt then get that dialled in with your doc as a priority so you know what trt dose to return to. When you return for more cycle advice I’d suggest defining your goals a little more to get best advice.
Get trt dose sorted first, if you’ve had low t for a while you’ll probably find that trt will help you achieve a goal as simple as “getting in shape”
Good luck

You need to get your TRT dialed in.
100mg may or may not work, so it is going to take time to truly dial it in.... probably a good few months.
You need to find optimal, manage cascade effects along the way... figure out what happens with your blood too and see if you need to do phleb's etc.

It is serious stuff and takes some time. But on the upside, some of the most (mentally/cognitively) stable and educated fellas you will find, are the experienced and dialed in TRT lads on sites like this.

Ditch the crystal ball and focus on now. Get your body sorted.
You look great already in your avatar (no homo), so getting dialed in will help you lean out and muscle up anyway, most likely.

MedDx's picture

X2...any extra test and his BW will be skew...Do you think 12-18 months minimum would be adequate time to wait pending BW results?

Good advice brother

April is too soon. Focus on diet modification and weight resistance training. Get your BF% down, and eat foods that complement your blood type. Eat nutrient dense foods, while receiving TRT dose regimen. What is your BF? In your pic, it looks like you are 18%.Choose carbs with a low glycemic index and increase your protein. Hypothetical macros: p/c/f - 250g/150g-200g/120g. Query Harris Benedict equation and calculate your BMR with and without activity. Bring that number back here and we'll work out a better macros, than the one I posted. Do you alternate heavy/low weight workout days? What is your metabolism like and what's your body type?

It's all gym and food, bro...AAS just repairs. First cycles produce the best results. Each cycle after that, if done correctly, might yield 5-10lbs of obtainable muscle, which you might still lose over the years, especially if you stop lifting and eating correctly. Remember, this is a journey, not a race....so set your pace to learn how AAS works. Glad you're here. Welcome to Eroids?

Did you figure out your BMR? Smile

Also, thanks for posting before starting any extra hormones.

Does your doc have you an AI prescribed?

For what pct? You don't need pct, if you want to stay on trt....
