cycle timing

ad

i was originally planning to start my first cycle in may after coming back from a shitty labrum injury. i want it to be perfect and have it planned out and do everything on a strict schedule. I am now re thinking of my timing. i know work gets crazy for me in the spring and summer and im now thinking maybe the best thing to do would be to keep it natty until i have more time to be more fully committed. i know no matter what lifes responsibilities can get in the way of our lifting/nutrition/cycles just wanted to bounce my thoughts off the more experienced cyclers out there. should i wait or should i let go of my worries about it being perfect and go for it?

Personally I would say that if you think you'll not be able to maintain your diet or training then I'd hold off of the gear. It would be a waste. Wait until everything can work together.

im leaning toward that decision .i have little work through winter so probably best to do my first cycle during that time. i usually am able to get my training in even with work busy but like i said adding gear for the first time will probably be easier when i have more time. once i get a first cycle in and i have some practice ill be better equipped to do one during the busy season, thanks for your input. pin

Smart decision. I think priority 1 is maintaing your diet. You can get away with missing some training sessions. It's tough to get back on a diet when you fall off. I take it by the seasonal work you are in some type of construction? So you'll be getting physical activity that way. So maybe wait til work slows down and pack on some mass.

yea i own a painting company but its new so im still laboring. diet comes easy for me i went crazy anal with recording my diet down to the gram with scales and portion measuring. getting extra calories i usually just add a mass gainer on top of regular macros. i was thinking for when i do cycle i would add maybe 50 grams of protein and carb cycles with my workout days. days off id keep them low days at the gym and post workout bust out the mass shakes and eat until im stuffed lol. is this a good strategy for adding the size but not to much fat in your opinion?
