TRT Trifecta or Cycles?

ad

I'm new here, I'm 29, and 170lbs approximately 20% fat.
So I started on Test after getting a blood test at a little more than 500ng/dL, and feeling fatter, lazier, and not recovering as well from workouts.
I ran 250mg Test Cyp every week, after about 5 weeks got blood work and i was at 1400ng/dL and not really feeling awesome. I'm shooting for closer to the 800-900ng/dL range.
Cut the dose to about 150mg EW, tested again 4-5 weeks later and still at 1150ng/dL, but my estrogen spiked to 270pg/mL
Long story short, I want to try again, and I have

250mg/ml test cyp
5000 iu HCG
TAMOXIFEN 20mg
ARIMIDEX - 1mg

How should I proceed?
Should I cycle or stay on?
What are your thoughts on using HCG intermittently, such as one month on/ one month of, while on Test?

This is not a cycle nor it is TRT. This is an abomination stop screwing it up bro and listen to the advice below

I'm very active. and i dont look fat at all. so idk dude. 20% is based on a dexa scan i got in january, so i assume its accurate. At 140 i'm dead. if i lose 18lbs of fat im in the single digits, which is cut.

How should I proceed?

Ok, first, spread your legs then bend over and grab your ankles, hold onto them real tight, now pull and curl your head forward till you have your lips pressed against your ass..........

500 test levels isnt why you dont recover ...
A lot of guys around here would love to have 500 test level.
Sounds like your not eating right.
Maybe your not sleeping right.

Nothing like ruining a perfectly fine HPTA with self prescribed trt.

Pct and pray you haven’t fucked your body up irreversibly.
This isn’t a game.

Change your handle

P.S. i tried, didn't see an option to change user name.

Username change is a Mod function only.

If anybody could change their own name it would be a zoo.

Well feedback has been overwhelmingly negative, so safe to say I'm reevaluating my choices. But I can't help but wonder why ya'll are so harsh about it when almost none of the "first cycle" posters on this forum cite bloodwork from before starting, and most of them probably don't even get bloodwork at all, yet most of them get positive advice.

Bearded_muscle's picture

Haha I was just kidding about the name bro. Rock it.
Anyone who skips bloodwork rightfully is called reckless (and usually a moron). If you’ve seen new guys making mistakes and not being called on it that’s just an oversight. We don’t catch it all. Be glad that you’re actually getting taken care of and hearing the feedback you should.

Ps: most of the blowback on your post is more with regard to your decision to go on an extended cycle/trt/cruise/bridge/whatever the kids call it these days when you had PERFECTLY healthy test levels. You were fine. Now you probably aren’t. It may be salvageable but you may be sticking yourself once or twice a week now for the rest of your life.

1st. you started a cycle before posting any blood work , matter of fact you are done and looking to start another , because the first did not go so well.

2nd. your original blood work pre-cycle was all in all normal, if you had posted said blood work before the cycle we could have steered away from hormones.

Its always the same guys think they can fix hormone imbalance with more synthetic hormones, you were not imbalanced in the first place, now you are and you want these guys to give you the OK on more test.

Bearded_Monkey's picture

What I was hoping to hear and what I want aren't necessarily the same. I wanted the truth. And you think you can confidently tell me my hormones were balanced when you only know my initial total test? You got any credentials, BASIC level 5?

addicted.to.pain's picture

I would stop while your ahead there big dog.

Anger is gonna get you know where.

''credentials''? Maybe I do Maybe I do not, It does not take a rocket scientist to deduce the doctor saw no imbalance worthy of trt, the only imbalance was created by you.

addicted.to.pain's picture

your original test levels of 500ng/dl is with in normal limits a little below average.

More testosterone is not your answer, If that was the answer the doctor would have put you on trt. You could have modified your diet and changed your routine in the gym, not self prescribed trt. Estro at 270pg/ml at that low dose of test, no sir you need to step away from the test.

At this point seeing as how your on the third go around, I would stop get a hold of some high grade clomid/nolva and HCG.

Actually just finishing up pct on my first go at it. I kinda figured the the "TRT Trifecta" would be common knowledge here. It refers to using Test, hcg, and AI at the same time. Listened to an HRT doc describe it, and read about it on other forums.
