Sustenon questions
ad
I'm back after a three month lay off because of tendon issues and a hernia. While I was out several of my friends have started running sust 250 and keep saying how great they feel. What I can't seem to understand is what's the difference between test e 250 and sust 250. My thought process is one has four different esters of test and the other only has one. Numerically I am led to believe that eventually it will be the same thing. I also can't wrap my head around the pros of sust. In my mind an eod of prop for 30 days and 250 test e twice weekly for 36 weeks will give you much more consistent and steady gains. Any thoughts welcome.

First of all let me give you props for being a professional fighter, It's a tough sport and requires a lot of work ethic to get to that level.
I noticed your diagnosed with low T at the age of 36. That could've happened from being knocked in the head as a pro-fighter. At your young age I would explore the possibilities of a restart to get your natural production up. This would include working with a healthcare professional, blood tests, different scans, Etc.
Now back to your original question. If you are doing AAS cycle with biweekly injections you really won't notice any difference between Sust and Test E (except for the timing of the PCT).
Now if you are going to be utilizing this for TRT Sust is a bad choice ( even though it was specifically designed for this particular purpose) as it will give you too many fluctuations at that low of a dose. So stick to testosterone C or E when it comes to TRT.
Now these are preferences and if you only have one particular thing available like Sust you can make it work for both AAS and TRT.
Hope this helps.
Down UnderThe main differences between a Sustanon blend (be it pharma-grade or UGL) and Test E/C, is the total in differing esters.
As mTor linked below, this gives you a good indication as to how injection frequency can affect your experience/results. Are they injecting the Sust 250 EOD? If so, this could account for why they feel great... The difference in esters means they would be experiencing the effects of a faster acting testosterone sooner, rather than having to wait for the usual Test E/C "kick"..
... Which leads me in to my next point.
Testosterone is testosterone. It doesn't matter what ester it's attached to, it still exerts the EXACT same effects on the body. The main difference is how quickly it is metabolised/absorbed by the body. Try to imagine a curve on a graph; shorter esters produce a narrow, higher peaked bell curve, whereas longer esters produce a wider, flatter bell curve.
When you overlay the two curves, what do you get? Less peak fluctuations. Perhaps this could account for their 'feeling great', depending on their injection frequency.
But in regards to your posed question, yes, numerically they are mostly similar. You have to remember ester weight also detracts from total testosterone weight. I don't remember exact numbers off the top of my head, but Prop ester leaves you with more available testosterone hormone.... Enanthate leaves you with less (because it takes longer to absorb = it's bigger = takes up more space).
"In my mind an eod of prop for 30 days and 250 test e twice weekly for 36 weeks will give you much more consistent and steady gains."
In regards to this, I'm guessing the Prop for 30 days is your kicker. That or front-loading will yield similar blood levels in a 2 weeks period (depending on a few factors, of course) due to active half life.
As long as your injection frequency matches the half life of the ester used, any combination or stand alone use of testosterone and it's ester will produce consistent and steady gains.... for 36 weeks? Well, that's really an individual thing I guess.
Hope this helps
PS: Sorry it's about the mini essay... oops
It mostly like from the blend, they feel great because the hormone levels are even and sust will kick in quicker. Depending the amount of each ester, it could be more test overall all than test e
This explains the esters weight
