question about cloudy prop

ad

So the prop im currently using is a bit cloudy. By accident some B12 got sucked into it when I was drawing it from the vail, no big deal its water so you can see its not mixing. Anyway, I boiled some water and it cleared up but shortly afterwords its back to its cloudy self. Any thoughts on this? Still ok to pin or what? its been like that for about a week or so and ive had no neg. issues with it.

It started turning like that after some of my b12 got sucked into the vial. I honestly believe that the b12 has something to do with it. I know there is a lot of shit in b12 that could possibly effect the oil, not in a neg way tho.

Filter it or ditch it for a new one. Dont know if there are any risks involved but is it worth finding out?

I have a lot of experience with cloudy tren. That wouldn't raise an eyebrow. Cloudy test tho? I don't like it. And why do you use water to warm it? The possibility of getting water into the vial is greatly increased. If you are using a UGL, it is not a professional crimp job. The slightest weak spot can let steam into the vial. Water= bacteria= infection. Not worth it. Stop using boiling water to heat your gear. It's much safer and more practical to use dry heat. As for the cloudy prop, get some whatman syringe filters & sealed sterile vials. Normally i would say get a .45 but since it's a finished product and has already been filtered by the source, use a .22. It will get any impurities out. I personally wouldn't pin it without filtering it.

Thanks, Ive already been pinning it tho with no signs of infection or anything. any thoughts on that? Some of the guys told me its just crashed but being crashed doesnt effect the potency of the gear?

Nitti's picture

If it crashed you'd see crystals and stuff that lookslike cotton. Not to mention you'd be in horrible pain. It didn't crash

already saw it. Ive been using mine with no issues tho. Just wanted to hear some thoughts on it.

this is true BUT water and oil would separate so you SHOULD be able to see the separation if water is present.
