Had abdinomal surgery last week. So im still at the minunim a month out from starting or beginning to train with iron. Seeking advice and or cycle runs for when I'm cleared to train. Just wanting to do it correct and put this injury behind me. Small IED blast hit my intesnents and had to have everything pulled out and stapled me 27 times from my pelvis to my waistline.
weight before blast. This is my 6th or.7th run.
6ft 220 w/ 11.5 BF
After 3 weeks of not eating then only allowed fluids for days I'm down to
6ft 196 BF unknown. Lost alot of muscle. Not rushing just wanted to approach this correctly
Any advice is truly appreciate.

Thank You for your service, wishing you a speedy recovery
I would focus a basic cycle after I'm cleared to train. Maybe even consider hgh.
I’ve had multiple surgeries and recovery is different from all of them. My knee and abdominal surgery recovery took the longest.
I’m great now because I was a good patient and didn’t push things much. It’s NEVER a good idea to jump on aas during recovery. Just take things slow, eat well and listen to your body and be patient.
Would you rather be 100% in 10-12 Months or at 50-75% the rest of your life?
Wow man, tough injury. I had a double inguinal hernia and couldn't tolerate solid food for a while and also lost alot of weight. First thing you need to worry about is getting fully healed, the next thing will be getting a diet back online to support lean mass gain. Strength will probably be way down, especially core strength, so get to work on that as soon as you reasonably can without risk of injury. I wouldn't worry about AAS right now, it's going to take a bit of time to get your diet dialed back in. AAS would probably make you more prone to injury especially in your core where you're the weakest, so don't risk it.
Wait for a few months even after your cleared once your able to eat you will get full really quick after like 4 bites of anything you don't want to just start hammering down food fast to stretch your stomach let it heal and your muscles will come back fast and you will be lean don't start aas
