Please help! Injury advice!
Guys,
Not sure that this is the right place to do this but...
I did a great dbol/test-e cycle last year. Finished PCT, no complaints.
Bought the same again to start up next month but the last few weeks I've been suffering badly from tendonitis in my right wrist.
I'm in the process of getting treatment but, like the doctor said, it's sometimes better to break you leg than have muscular/tendon based problems. It can be a nightmare to subdue it... to get the tendon to rest for long enough to heal.
My question is this, because I've read a lot that AAS can help relieve joint pain... Should I start up again?
This isn't something that was caused by weight training, by the way. It's a reoccurring thing only this time it's painful to the point that I can't train biceps or triceps properly.
I'm not absolutely desperate to get back on gear... I'm losing mass fast though.
Thanks

hey bro did you ever find a fix?
They make a wonderful lil device called a "TENS UNIT MACHINE". You can buy them cheap online. They work wonders on stuff like this.
why not use hormone? I heard it is useful for treament of injuiry.
Hope it would help.
hey you! joined like 7hrs ago and posted a good review on a known "poor source". for hgh not sure what you trying to do??? But it doesnt look cool..
cortisone will relieve not fix the pain, but in my opinion you need to take fish oil and a supplement called super cissus rx it's actually an amazing supplement that strengthens tendons and ligaments. I had a pit bull rip the shit out of my arm 5 years ago and it torn 2 tendons in half and I couldn't move two fingers. I served 2 weeks in jail because I killed and strangled the f-ing stupid mut. I took fish oil 3000 mgs a day, super cissus rx, and vitamin c, zinc, and a multi- vitamin everyday and I was lifting in about 1 and half months after surgery. You are going to make it worse if you don't rest and let that shit heal.
That is some great info! Got a good laugh out of strangling the f-mut. Thats fucked to serve jail time for putting down a mut that bit you.
A shot of cortisone has pretty much done the trick. I feel no pain now but I'm going to leave it another week anyway just to make sure. I wouldn't say this is the solution for everyone as there are plenty of exercises you can do and other things before this very painful shot.
Helped me out though.
Dude the cortisone shot only mask the problem. You need to cure the problem with the right meds and therapy. Definitely see a doc about an mri or catscan to see exactly what is bothering you could be somthing more severe.
MRI was already done. Found that there were no torn/injured ligaments. They were swollen and couldn't deflate due to every day movement. The cortisone seems to have induced enough deflamation to allow them to move freely. No issues as yet. Can't say the same for my shoulder though... another MRI tonight and likely key-hole surgery for an impeachment :(
It's true though... tendon injuries shouldn't just be brushed off with cortisone. Consult your specialist!
Deca is good on soft tissues between joints and its great for strengthening the bones. For your tendons i am not sure. Like bro said above hgh, do your research on the stuff. If you are an older person it would be the fountain of youth for you. If your younger avoid it, just heal up properly. No reason to stop working out just bring it down to a comfortable level. I have had ligaments hurt for months to a year. Ice it, heat it. I had a cousin that had to have fluid drained out of his shoulder and knees once nasty "shit" but it helped. Maybe it lays in your spine, i found out i had a hernianted cervical disc that could have been my shoulder problem. I have since had disc replacement and trying to recover at the moment.
I get tennis elbow and get a cortisone injection pretty much every 3 months. Doctor says to sort it properly could mean surgery. The problem with tendons are that once they start to rub they swell and get continually worse. The injection sorts the swelling and then you can heal. I train 2 days after the injection without any problems. Not saying that's right. Hope this helps
My shoulders are destroyed from heavy benching over the years. I start what ever cycle I'm doing by adding deca for 5-6 weeks to start
It's my wonder cure to lubricate everything up and pain goes away. You do need to heal up first or you will just keep aggravating injury
Agreed bro! Deca is the fucking wonder cure. Dude my doc couldnt believe how fast my acl and meniscus healed after shattering.and having my entire tebula plateau to ankle rebuilt. Trauma center for 2 weeks back to work in 3 months it was unreal. The doc was fucking blown away i didnt tell him why i healed so fast. Do a physical therapy routine while on a low dose of test and deca, therapy meaning with a trained therapist not a fucking weight lifter. The only mistake i made was i didnt pct properly. And that will never happen again after joining this site. PM me
I had patella tendonitis in my left knee last year just before I ran the London marathon. It took about 2 months for it to heal enough. It really was the only way to get it sorted. Like everyone has said, just rest.
Super ciccus...Google it.
sgtstedankoRelieving joint pain, while your injured, is imho. Very stupid, & irresponsible. Heal up. Then start cycling. The only way to go. Otherwise, you'll prob fuck yourself up permanently!
Correctomundo brother!! will only make pain worse with added strentgh from aas the joints and tendons are in for a hard ride, imo load up with good quality omega 3s always helps mine and i am f-ing ancient LOL
51!!!! Hats off!
Thank you bro will be 52 in june this year and planning to get ripped to the bone just to prove i can still bring it to the table
Thanks man... and if that pic is you, you aint that old pal!!!
Thats him alright,he is a bit bigger and smoother now but all that will change for summer, he keeps saying he cant be bothered getting totally ripped again but ive just seen his next cycle plans he leaves bits of paper all around the house with all sorts of thoughts written down lol,he has also changed his training routine thats a dead giveaway.
Well... he's looking good! I'll be loading all the weight I've lost because of this tendon (No training --> less eating --> less sleeping --> rinse and repeat) which is do-able in a couple of months I think. Then the complex task of getting ripped to shreds. A target for the summer!
Yeah... that's in the forefront of my mind. This isn't your average 'heal up' situation though. My dad had it for years until he had very intrusive surgery a few years back. I have some new meds since and MRI scan last week so hopefully there'll be an improvement.
sgtstedankoHow long do you plan on living? Be patient, heal properly; however long it takes. You can always cycle again. The same can't be said for your tendons, etc. I hope you improve, however it happens, u think it must happen, before you cycle. Otherwise, it could be rough waiting the rest of your life to cycle again. Have patience...
