Injection pain

Hi, hoping someone will be kind enough to help me with some info.
During my last injection into my rear delt muscle i experienced really intense bad pain over my whole shoulder while the last .5ml went in.
It lasted for around 2minutes and now it is fine.
Has anyone ever experienced this or can tell me what happened please.

I've had the same thing happen but not only in my delts. I think you either nicked a nerve, or you injected directly next to a nerve and the injection pushes on the nerve. The compound can then irritate the nerve for a short time while there is still pressure there, give it a few minutes and the injection will absorb more into the muscle/dissipate into the muscle and the pressure will be relieved.
You may have hit a nerve with the injection.
Guys got you below. That’s almost certainly a nerve. Is someone else doing your rear delt shots. I can’t do my own unless I have help - so I rarely bother.

I'd say I hit a nerve (frign painful!)
Hitting a nerve in the quad or chest has to be the worst..
It could be a nerve or a sub q leak.. the rear delt is a small muscle.. If the gear has high ba that could be it also

Probably not a sub q leak if it only lasted a few mins.. most likely a nerve

You probably hit a nerve, its like a very strong burning, tingling sensation when it happened to me but didn't last long, only a few minutes.
Thanks for your reply, maybe i did but it was more like a massive dead arm sensation
